So, yeah, I'm kind of "on call" at the moment (along with a good number of my friends) to help console a friend because:

My friend Taylor just discovered that his girlfriend of two years cheated on him with some creeper she met at Bed, Bath, and Beyond (really!)

So, basically, this is the thread to discuss why some people are (as the title indicates) cheating whores and sluts. It can apply to both men and women, really.

I have been out of the dating scene for 20 years, but I always have thought to myself that Bed Bath and Beyond as well as Michaels Craft Store would be pretty easy places to pick up girls. Michael's is full of lonely girls who sit around and knit all day, and Bed Bath and Beyond is full of single girls shopping for wedding presents for their friends. I imagine it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Because people get bored too easy with the same thing. I don't and wouldn't cheat, and that stuff used to bother me a great deal, but I'm more accepting of stuff now.

Also, Michael's here is weird. Everyone who frequents the one around me has some kind of physical deformity. Not that I would really notice/care normally, but like everyone there is like that.

I got cheated on by my first serious girlfriend.

it half happened to me, this guy that i was seeing lied to my face about seeing his ex. They didn't fuck or anything but why lie in the first place.

I told this story in another thread, but a boyfriend I had freshman year of college was two-timing me with another girl I knew somewhat (she was unaware that he was also "dating" me).

So the two of us managed to discover our little connection and got even. She tricked him into thinking he was getting some by leaving him a note to undress in her dorm room (everything except for one particular item) and wait for her in her dorm room. While that was happening, the two of us went and got like two entire floors of their dorm (they lived in the same building, I lived in a different one) and opened the door. The one item of clothing? Her cheetah-print thong. Taking pictures and laughing was encouraged.

I know it sounds like something that would happen in a teen movie, but it's a true story. It was probably the best night ever.

Getting revenge on a cheater is the most awesome thing.

I've never been cheated on but then again I'm far too busy to actually date someone (let alone get married) so I can't speak from experience but it is amazing what people will do sometimes.

I mean, somebody at Bed Bath and Beyond? Really? I guess I'm not surprised, because really where else are you going to meet someone? You can't exactly go to Singles Social Hour.

I was a homewrecker last year but we never hooked up, me and this girl. LONG story short, I liked her before she went out with this guy from my school. We got closer, she broke up with him (at the time she said she had mixed feelings for him and I) and then asked me to prom..then got back together with her bf. Ya so it really was just a big ol waste of time..

My buddy jsut got cheated on by his gf. They are on a break now because of it, but he's thinking of breaking up with her. Which I would do. His gf never went all the way with the other guy but things did take place, that's all I'll say.

As far as getting back together I think it depends on the motives involved with the cheating. Sometimes it really just is a mistake, and I mean I'm all about forgiveness and stuff. On the other hand, the best indicator of future behavior, is past behavior.

That is very true. He has a good heart my buddy because I would have kicked her to the curb. I'm all for forgiveness but when it happens to you (like with his gf, she got cheated on before she was with him) you don't do it in your next relationship.

Yeah, absolutely. I guess if it were me, if it was a one time thing, then I might be ok with it and move in. If it happened with more than one guy (or over a long period of time) then I would have to move on.

Of course that is easy to say because I'm not involved in the situation, I know that there are a lot of emotions and it isn't just as easy as saying "get out of here".

I think some of you are being hypocritical. Some of you may not have had the chance simply because no one wants u.

I've been the person the cheating manwhores cheat with many times in my lyfe.

When I was 15 (I turned 16 while there) my somewhat steady boyfriend left me for another girl while I was in inpatient at a clinic because he didn't want to wait around his last summer before college without a girl. When I found out I didn't really care about him any more, though. Kind of was a snap "Fuck him!" decision.

Wouldn't it be nice if it was always a "snap fuck him" turnaround.

Okay i have cheated with people twice. Although not technically fully cheated, just you know, crossed a line that I would call not being faithful.

However, i have never, ever cheated when in a relationship. Never had, Never will.

I have less issue with being the other man because i think its the persons desicion, and at the end of the day, if they are pretty enough or compatible enough then fuck it, im entitled to a piece!

Okay that sounded really obnoxious, and for the record i ended both things because i had issue with there being someone else.

I have less issue with someone being the other person than with being the person who cheats as well. Although I've never been either lol.

In my defence.

One of them was seriously one of the most gorgeous people i've ever seen in my life. The sheer fact they took notice of me back was more suprising to me than anything else. Charisma a plenty there.

The other one I was and remain more deeply connected with than anyone i've met. I mean it's seriously a strong compatibility and deep mutual feelings. Which makes it more difficult than the superficial thing i had before.
