Here in Kansas City, it doesn't look like we're getting fiber optic internet any time soon, although North Kansas City now has liNKCity, which is their new fiber optic network. I'm hoping it'll expand into the rest of the metro, 'cause the prices are incredible considering the high speeds. Joy

But Comcast has started rolling outa network UPGRADE (not a new network) that will be about 15x faster than it's current network. I think it's 15 ... might be more.

I can't remember if it was 15 or 30? Right now Comcast can do up to 10 mb down, and for some reason I thought it was going to go up to 300 mb down? Maybe that's just wishful thinking.
