I have been accused of being a troll here at WOKJ by Positive* Jon in the Beowulf review thread.

While I do have strong opinions and a dark sense of humor, I do not consider myself to be a troll. As a matter of fact, I think of myself as a contributing member of the KJ community who has written reviews for almost every movie released in the past three years since WOKJ started.

I have asked for Positive* Jon to apologize for this insult, but he has refused and instead gone on to further insult me.

So, I thought I would put it to a vote:

As much as I think Positive Jon is jesting, bradley being insulted is perfectly understandable. Afterall, he seems like one of the few posters in the review sections whose opinions are all truly his own, and he's contributed much to the forum and at least my enjoyment of it. He's not a troll, he simply has a personality and unique style - something to be celebrated on here.

Or... you know...

General assumptions about a movie that one can get by reading many reviews vaguely.

Everyone here has trollish tendencies. You, like most others get kind of obsessed about the negativity sometimes, and in these instances you display trollish behavior. Beowulf you've been slightly obsessed about.

But it's nothing to get emotional about. Positive*Jon needs to back off and just not reply.

I'd second that Bradford. We all have weak trollish moments, hell I have them far to often myself, and yes you do on ocassion delve into that territory. I find it very hard to know when your being serious but I'll assume you are here. Jon was just taking the piss and having harmless fun in my view so just laugh it off.

If Jon wants to see you as a troll though it's his loss. I don't think you should expect an apology, since there's nothing to apologize for. It's an opinion afterall.

Perhaps you're all right that I took "Positive"* Jon's comments too seriously - - but they certainly seemed harsh and rude amidst the joking around that was taking place in the Beowulf thread with loyal, makeshift, Gulli, and myself at the time. (I didn't want to derail that thread any further, so I started this one to resolve it.)

Anyways, please excuse my outburst - - a dark shadow of a mood must have passed over my heart there for a moment...

Bradley, you are like a breath of fresh air on this forum. I enjoy your postings, even if I don't always agree with you, simply because you are so funny, entertaining and willing to stick by and defend your own opinion, even if it's in the minority. I have no problems with you at all. And this is coming from someone who loves Lord of the Rings, and you go around calling it an abortion. Cheers.

Seriously, though your taste in movies definitely leaves something to be desired, your reviews are (usually) interesting and have a nice dose of humour. Though I am curious as to what you're like in real life, if you do, in fact, exist there.
