Re: I'm Liking This Ron Paul Fella
I do too, except for the axing of the war on drugs and all. He would be a nice change, but he is so far off on some issues.

He actually gave me and some others in my class a tour of the Capitol building. I'm a fan, too.

Re: I'm Liking This Ron Paul Fella
I'm not too keen on his anti-abortion stance and some of his other feelings but he approaches things like a disagreement, not a crusade against the other opinion. I don't think he's the type of person who would step over people to get what he wants. I think he thinks larger than that.
I like him too. I would vote for him against a Democrat.

Re: I'm Liking This Ron Paul Fella
I could never vote for someone who is anti-choice. Plus, I really feel that the most important issue this election is health care, so there's no way I could ever vote for a repub.

He's a rascally little feller.
I'll echo others in saying that he's my favorite Repub in the field. Would never get my vote, but yeah.

I actually think his stance on drugs (though a political loser) is one of his better ideas.

Re: I'm Liking This Ron Paul Fella
I admire the fact that he says what he thinks. He's the McCain of the 2008 election. (Too bad McCain isn't the McCain of the 2008 election).
With that said, I'll never vote for him. But if a Republican were to win, I'd prefer him over any of the others.

Ron Paul is as much a space cadet as Kucinich.

Note how much the 25%ers celebrate how out of touch they are with the rest of America. While it's true that the guy is on the crazy end of libertarianism, advocating the abolition of the Dept of Education among other things, the fact is that the central issue of this campaign is the war, and Ron Paul is the ONLY Republican candidate on the right side of that issue.
