Post Re: 2009 TONY NOMINATIONS...
Even though I'm sure nobody else cares... ;)

I'm really happy for HAIR. I've heard it's amazing and I'm so excited to see it this summer. I'm also really happy for SHREK: THE MUSICAL (mainly because Sutton Foster is nominated for Lead Actress). Also very happy for BILLY ELLIOT, NEXT TO NORMAL and ROCK OF AGES.

I'm very disappointed Daniel Radcliffe didn't get nominated for Lead Actor for EQUUS. It was one of the most amazing performances I've ever witnessed on stage and it's a shame it's not being recognized.

Also, very happy (and shocked) for [TITLE OF SHOW]'s surprise nomination.

I really hope WEST SIDE STORY doesn't win revival of a musical, I heard it's not very good. I can't see the award going to anyone but HAIR at the moment.

And really I'd be happy with any of the nominations winning for Best Musical, though I think I'd be most happy if NEXT TO NORMAL or ROCK OF AGES won.

I'm also disappointed Piper Parabo didn't get nominated for REASONS TO BE PRETTY.
