Here is my proposal for a thread. I say that either every day or every week we have a certain topic on hand to talk about. Such as: How long have you ever held your breath? or some crap like that. I'm just interested in everybody's life... kinda

How long have you ever talked to someone on the phone/instant messaging, in one sitting?

I've talked on the phone continuously for about 4 hours. On AIM, around 3 hours. Usually all late at night.

Ive talked to a girl named Justine on the phone for 6 hours just about every night this week.

As for AIM, with one person, i would say 3-5 hours. I don't pay attention.

Well, the longest I've ever talked on the phone was about an hour and a half... but AIM, I can talk to this one girl for 7 hours without letting the conversation be silence

Aim- 4-5 hours

Phone- 5 minutes? I don't know. I can't talk on the phone.

Phone--- around 2 1/2 hours I'm guessing...before my phone battery dies :evil:

Instant Messagin...I have no idea! A lot I'm guessing. probably over 3 hours. I don't know.

phone: 8 hours (I was a teenage girl once), but I actualyl hate the phone my ebst friend when I was 12 loved it, and so I ended on it alot.

IM: 12 hours, with a poster from BOM actually. (and I was not talking to anyone else at the time, or doing anything else).

On the Phone: 3 hours, a friend and I hadn't talked in a long time, so it was a lot of that 'what are you up to now' stuff. I kind of hate the phone now, all that awkward silence - I haven't had a phoneconvo last more than 10 minutes in at least 2 years.

On IM services: That's more difficult to discern. A single, steady conversation with only one window open? I'm fairly confident in saying my longest was 4h30m from 3-7.30AM not too long ago. Most of mine only last 30-60 minutes. Overall I'm more of a quality than quantity person - thankfully that 4h30 conversation had both.

AIM-one time I talked to a girl online from 7PM to 5AM...that's about 10 hours. It was summer, I had insomnia.

Phone-maybe a half-hour. I don't talk on the phone much or for long periods of time.

Not even eating ?:( I'd die.

I talk to my girlfriend every day, thanks to a webcamera and microphone. School days, that is usually 5 to 6 hours. Weekends, it might be 8 hours. But, I also get homework done in this time, and other various projects I got going. Over the phone, our longest is 3 hours and 30 minutes, but that was thanks to a phone card. May have been longer, if the phone card lasted longer.

Excluding her, me and my friend Jordan talked nearly non-stop all day on MSN a few weeks ago.

Phone: 4-ish hours. With my ex. Twice.

IM: I dunno...maybe 7 hours? I've talked with people from 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM before...

Phone: 2 hours
AIM: 8 hours

it was from like 8pm at night till 8am the next mornig, i occasionally got up to get another drink or grabsome snacks, but that was it.

And when I fianlly said goodbye at 8am, I took shower and went to school and did not get home till 7pm that day.

phone: like a 30-40 minutes, i dont like talking on the phone!

msn: 2 hours i think

I talk to my phone for hours. I don't call anyone, or take it off the hook, I just talk to it a lot. It tells me to do things. Evil things that I can't discuss right now because it's looking at me.

On MSN for about 5 hours, before my internet cuts out by itself.

Phone about 30 mins, im not a phone person. lol

7hrs on the phone. almost all day 18hrs with a friend online. he was have girlfriend troubles I was helping him out.

On the phone - I'd guess two hours, with an ex. I'm not much of a phone person.

Online, though...jeez. I'd guess 16 hours. Overnight. About a year and a half ago. There's this girl in Cali...it's a shame, if she lived anywhere close to me we'd definitely be going out, but oh well.

Hmm...on the phone: Probably 4 hours; AIM/YIM: 7+ hours Iwould say. I always lose track of time when I'm on the computer.

Longest conversation I've had on the phone only lasted around 20 minutes and it was a telemarketer. I don't use the phone for very long because I just hate it. So impersonal.

i've talked to the same person on the phone for a couple hours. instant messager i've talked to a few people for 4+ hours

I talked to Kelley on the phone for 15 1/2 hours straight.
