Do you feel that it is right to hate a person or an object?
Ok I have been asking myself and others this question all my life, and I do not understand how a sane person could hate a person they have never met in there life, or an object they have never physicaly been near. Can someone explain this to me :?:
Anyway I would never hate anyone I have never physicaly met, or anything I have never phyisicaly touched. I feel that it is moraly wrong to hate anything at all. There are situations that permit a person to hate, but it would have to be the person that had the crime comited toward them that hates the person or thing that has done the wrong. knowone in that persons family has the right to hate the offender because what ever the offender did should only be hated by the person that they harmed in any way. There are many other situations, probably hundreds or even thousands of others but I feel that it is just flat out wrong to hate. I also feel that anyone who hates anything should have a very danmb good reason.

99% of the time, when someone says Quote: "I hate you" or "I hate this" it's meant as more of a figure of speech than anything and less abiout the actual feeling of "Hate" itself.....

Let me put it this way...
If an insane mass murderer killed your whole family, but you still never met him....you wouldn't hate him then?

I dont know. I mean... in the case of LMR (he is from Kintucky) it could have been his brother, uncle, or grandma that raped his mum. Now, can you hate a close family member?

Tough one, i really dont know.
But you said "people", so it could be a stranger, that youve never seen, could you hate that person?

There are a few people at school I just hate. That's how I am. There are some people that I don't like at all, but the reasons aren't all that valid. It's just something about them. Same with celebs like Vin Diesel. I mean it's not like I know him, nor have I seen much of his work, but I just don't like him. Something tells me he would be a bully-type of person.

I hate nearly everyone outside of my family. And there even people in my family I despise.
As for things, well...
BTW-on Vin Diesel, appearantly he's a very nice guy in person and friendly to fans. Bad actor, though. Kinda like Keanu Reeves-bad actor, good man.

Id like to meet Vin Deisel, i think he'd be a cool guy, and we'd get along pretty good too, but Keanu Reeves, i think we would fight!!!! I would constantly take the piss out of his acting by saying things like "have you ever had actying classes?" ... "are you thinking of taking some?" ..........he also looks big headed, he'd probably think he is neo, to which i wouldget out my 14 inch Rambo III knife and slice his tshirt (yes, like in Crocodile Dundee) and he would run off crying back to Larence Fishburne!!!

Keanu doesn't need lessons. He's already rich as hell. He made about 100m on the Matrix sequels, I heard.

He does need lessons if he wants be something bigger than "the man in the Matrix that doesnt need to have good acting!"

I think to answer this question, one must define their own version of hate. We all throw the word around rather casually with different degrees of meaning. I 'hate' beats. Now,,if a can of beats comes into my house(because someone buys them), hating them as I do, should I take the can and smash it off the floor stomping it to bits??? No...So my level of hate is rather small for beats. Someone brought up 'a person that murdered your family' as someone to 'hate'.. If this person entered my house, yes, I'd kill them with hate as my driving force....I work with some people I dont really like for various reasons. Things they say, ways they do things, etc.. Do I hate them? No. But in casual conversation if someone asked "Hey, what do you thing of Bob and Joe over there?" I may say(out of habit) "O, I hate those two". I really dont hate them, its just a figure of speech. I think 'hate' is one of those words we throw around in langauge not taking into account its real meaning....Reminds me of another word that we dont really think about.....Love...
Now, I'd "love" to share more of my thoughts on the subject, but I "hate" to tell you I have to go.......

worst case scenario again cone on. I do not think it is right to hate someone that raped your family member only they have the right to hate that offender.

Hate is a very powerful word that is used far to much, your shure you absolutely hate these people at school who you will probably never see again after wchool is over. As for the celebs I dont hate one of them but there are many I dislike.
