 HD DVD is now better than Blu-Ray

Oh boy is Sony in trouble. With this and the fact that all of the porn industry is backing HD DVD it looks like Blu Ray's chances of being number one are over.

Blu Ray is rumored to be working on quad layered 100GB discs so it really isn't that big of a deal anything over 40 GB is really kind of unneccesary well until you get to like TB range, I think 2 hours of uncompressed footage at 60 FPS in 1080P is rough 2.2 TB.. Compression really brings that down a lot and the return for a two hour movie over 35 gb gets less and less.

I agree with you that anything over 40 gb is overkill. The thing is, HD DVD is showing BluRay that anything you can do I can do better. I don't think it will be that way for long though.

Sony is in trouble. Its battle plan, to seed the market with millions of PS3s, is failing. Playstation 3 is being outsold by Nintendo Wii almost 4-to-1 right now, if you didn't know:
