I mean ...

I'm all for people doing background checks on people and if I feel theres legitimate grounds for suing someone, that would be more reasonable. But suing cause you expect another Wal-Mart 7 miles away to know the incident that took place and having access to prescription information? Is that what they do for all gun buyers? Check potential prescription history? What all are you meant to check?

On top of that, why all the responsibility on Wal-Mart? The mom knows how her daughter is? Just the way she blames this on Wal-Mart, shouldn't this be blamed on the mom in the same way then?

And finally, the articles speaks of tightening gun laws. Thats good but again, why should Wal-Mart be subjected if they dont make the laws on it?

Finally, Wal-Mart sells shotguns?

Wal-mart is a store that sells pretty much everything. Why is it surprising that they sell shotguns?

This case isn't going to go anywhere; Wal-mart followed the law, and should not be expected to do anything above and beyond what is required of them.

I agree.

I was shocked that Wal-Mart offers gun cause

They dont sell music with bad lyrics
yet they continue to sell everything else .. guns, R rated movies, violent video games .... MCDONALDS!!

That girls parents don't give two shits about their daughter, wal-mart (a company iahte) followed the law. They are after money and I have ZERO sympathy for them over anything.

Lawsuits like this are just disgusting.
