Post Vegan Dishes
Does anybody know any recipies for a good vegan meal or dish? I'm going to my friend Alida's vegan dinner on the 23rd, and we're all supposed to bring our own thing to bring to add to the dinner, and I'm not at all educated with vegans. Any help?

Thank you!!

PEACE, Mike ;)

If makeshift_wings were on, he could prob. help you. I think he's a vegan...

Wait. So are you supp. to bring an entire dish? If so, there's GOTTA be some source on the internet in which you can find a recipe. You kinda have to figure that, for a group so small but known, the internet would be a booming (AND blooming!) place for vegans.

I hate the way you type out rapid fire, non-stop, offensive, but somewhat humorous (in this case: because of the ignorance behind the comment) responses. ;)

But my hate is much more powerful then theirs. They lack energy to hate me as much as I hate them.

You're lack of ability to believe and accept the fact that you're ignorant simply furthers the extent of your ignorance.

Must be that damn hippy music. And Alice Cooper.

Or the fact that I can say something like "Damn hippies can all burn in hell" in public just means that I'm not ignorant.

Maybe if you opened your eyes to the rest of the world you'd understand how.

Or maybe they could just eat dirt? Does dirt have feelings?

Dirt has poop, which comes from animals.

Thanks for insulting me and my friend. That was lots of help. *Waiting for the lame "we were just joking" excuse.*

Nevermind then.

PEACE, Mike ;)

Mike, I'm not positive about any notable vegan dishes. Not being one, and not having any friends that are, I'm also uneducated. Sorry!

Also, way to yet again hijack someone's thread, rusty.

I'm going to lock this thread. It's just turning into a bashing thread, plus the lock was requested.

Requested by who, Zingaling?

I'll talk to you, but there's a more...appropriate action to be taken...even though you'll hate it.

Here's one resource, Mike: http://www.veganforlife.org/recipes.htm

Although, don't fool your friend by, say, buying the generic version of the ingredient, b/c it might have some oils or things that could prevent it from being "officially vegan". If you care about her, keep in mind that they often feel VERY strongly about it, esp. if they go to such an extreme (Well...for me...since I'll eat about anything when I'm hungry, heh)...

And, no, rusty was not banned...

A vegan won't touch anything that involved animals. So, yeah, that means milk, chocolate, anything dairy, jello, some oils...

There's a lot of rules. I think it's silly, but it means a lot to anyone that actually becomes one.
