Both are in the fault at times but I understand that both of them lay claim to the territory. I also believe that the only way for there to be peace in that area is for Palestine to crack down on terrorists (which obviously isn't happening enough).

Coaster, its not a winner-takes-it-all situation. You could want to see both groups of people settled and happy. It might take a little longer, be much more painful, and not necessarily acheivable...but one can still aim for it.
As to whom I think is handling the situation better now, that's up in the air after Arafat's death. Prior to it, I still have to say Sharon, but seriously by the slimmest of margins.

Like I said above, both were in the fault. But I still like to support Israel for the fact that they are defending themselves against terrorist acts.

This question is a false alternative. I am for people in Israel and Palestine living in peace and cooperating with each other. It's not as if this is the only are in the world where close neighbors have been at war with each other for some time. As in other places, there is hope for eventual peace.

Personally, I don't care.
I understand why people are obsessed with this area of the world, but that reason doesn't really make a lot of sense to me.
So I personally don't care as long as it never touches me. *shrug*.
There are other parts of the world that are in a more dire circumstances.
