I've been splitting my time evenly between these games:
- NBA 2K6 (Xbox 360)
- Fight Night Round 3 (Xbox 360)
- Guitar Hero (PS2)
- Painkiller (PC)
Still in the wrapper, but on deck:
- God of War (PS2)
Up next to purchase:
- Elder Scrolls 4 (Xbox 360)
- Tomb Raider (Xbox 360)
- Ghost Recon AW (Xbox 360)
- Rumble Roses (Xbox 360)
- Full Auto (Xbox 360)

I wish I could buy Rumble Roses XX, but from the video's I've seen I could never play it in front of my wife or daughter
Looks like IGN has the first review out for it and it's not good... 6.5/10 http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/698/698909p1.html
Quote: Schoolgirl, nurse, cowgirl, ninja. Whatever your fetish, Rumble Roses XX has it. Unfortunately, what the first "wrestling" title on the Xbox 360 doesn't have is stirring gameplay, an interesting story or any real lasting value. To Konami's credit, all it wanted to do was create interactive girl-on-girl action, and in that, at least, Konami succeeded. and Quote: Rumble Roses XX isn't trying to be a great wrestling game; it's trying to give 13-year-old gamers a reason to lock their bedroom doors at night, and in that it succeeds. The wrestling is just a vehicle to get us there. But the sexy novelty of the Roses wears off quickly. More moves, more story, more rings, and more game modes could have pushed this title to respectability, if that's even possible. In the end, playing Rumble Roses XX is more about the scenery than it is about gameplay, the equivalent of playing Far Cry because you love palm trees. The difference here is that Far Cry is a good shooter; Rumble Roses, despite all the love we have for all of our old schoolboy fantasies -- and some new ones -- is a passable wrestling game, at best. You may be better off playing Smackdown and continuing with the stack of magazines under your bed, but there's no doubting that fans of Rumble Roses will enjoy RRXX for, if anything, a consistent formula: T and A. also gamespot gave it a 6.6/10 http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/ ... id=6146750Quote: Rumble Roses XX is a better game than its PS2 predecessor, but there are still too many annoying things about it to make it a success. Again, there isn't a single thing wrong with wanting to put attractive, well-built women in a wrestling game, but Rumble Roses XX insists on taking it to such levels of objectification that it just becomes hard to put up with after awhile. Not to mention that very little else of what the game offers, both from gameplay and feature standpoints, is strong enough to carry the load apart from the whole titillation aspect. In the end, Rumble Roses XX is another merely decent wrestling game that could have been a lot better had the focus been on the gameplay, and not on its more sordid elements.
I'd skip or rent Full Auto, the demo for it is terrible and the scores it recieved were barely passing.

Looks like my kind of game. I thought the PS2 version was decent - good cheesy fun complete with half naked girls wrestling in the mud... what's not to like? I'm looking forward to this one with updated graphics and extra features (including a create a wrestler feature). Although, I'm a little bummed they took out the bizarre story mode that had a plot that could have only been dreamed up by somebody from Japan who was on drugs.
I find it downright bizarre when people have a stigma to playing games with T&A, but don't think twice about playing one where you shoot people in the head or beat hookers to death. Not that anybody has said that in this thread yet, but I'll beat Kill and Squee to the punch (who I've argued this with before).

Been playing Oblivion since it came out.
Just picked up Kingdom Hearts 2 for the PS2 and Far Cry: Instincts for the 360.
Have Amped 3 and Burnout: Revenge from GameZnFlix sitting above the TV, waiting to be played.
And NBA Live 06 on the way from GameFly.

The last game I play every night is World of Warcraft.
I met the love of my life on that game! 12 more days and we get to be close to one another, yay. Anyway, needless to say, she plays the game, I play the game, therefore I stay on till she goes to sleep, at which point I go to sleep too. THEREFORE, it is the last game I play every night. Just like this night.

Treasure Island Dizzy. The terrible collision detection and lack of any extra lives, saves or restart points makes it infuriating. But I keep going back to it for some ungodly reason.

I haven't played many new games recently. I'm really focusing on music more, and my social life has really picked pu in the past year. Last game I played was Halo 1 a few hours ago. A few friends and I got together for a LAN and played some No-Shields 50% Health Sniper CTF on Hang'Em High. By far the best variant of Halo ever. I sucked it up though, because I haven't played in a few months
Last game before that? Super Smash .Bros Melee a few days ago at some girl's party. Well, there was that, Mario Kart Double Dash, and some DDR. I forget which was last. The last game I played that wasn't a party game was Mario Kart DS.

With the 360 broke, I finally opened my copy God Of War (PS2) and played about 4 hours of that.
I must say it was hard to go back to last generation graphics, however the game looks spectacular for a PS2 game. It plays in widescreen and progressive scan (I was surprised to see that from a PS2 game). The combat system is terrific and very satisfying, and I actually don't mind the static camera so much (although sometimes the enemies will go off screen and that can be very frustrating).
There are a lot of similarities to Ninja Gaiden - tough boss battles, multi colored orbs that you can find in chests or defeated opponents, using magic powers, similar combat style, same system used to upgrade your health/magic bar, upgradable weapons/magic - except that this game is uglier. I would say that it is a rip off of Ninja Gaiden, although Devil May Cry may be able to make that claim better for both.
Anyhow, it is a terrificly fun game that is impressive considering the ancient hardware it is running on. While I think Ninja Gaiden is a far superior game in every aspect so far, I do really like GOW and it's a tough one to put down once you start playing.
The thing I keep thinking while playing it is how good GOW2 will be on the PS3 (or NG2 will be on the 360). With a graphical boost and a more powerful system this game will be a killer, and one I would buy a console just to play.

Unfortunatly GOW2 is not coming to the PS3, it's a PS2 only game scheduled to come out around the PS3 launch.
Latest playing DOA4

Ahhh... well, that's disappointing. For some reason I was thinking it would be a PS3 game.
Why wouldn't Sony beef it up and release it on the PS3? It's not like they got a ton of top notch first party titles. Idiots!
