I posted a post similiar to the one that Ahmed did, showing the forum traffic. She deleted it, made her shitty comment, and locked it, while leaving Ahmed's exact same type of post there for all to see. That's the kinda bullshit I would expect from Sean.

I think this place is still trying to find it's footing and it's balance. I can tell you from experience, that there is a tendancy to over-mod when you first take over the "job". I would encourage everyone to relax. This is supposed to be a more relaxed environment, no? Don't sweat the small stuff (like people talking about BOM, etc...)

We will be allowing posts regarding BOM, the state of BOM, and anything of the sort.

What we will NOT be allowing, are any threads bashing sean, other mods, or anyone at BOM. We will not be allowing any threads about potential spamming or hacking of BOM.

We need to let this air itself out in a polite correct manner. A lot of people have invested alot of time, and we can not expect them to just not talk about it. That is unfair, we just have to keep the conversation civil while they do it. Give it a week, it will die down.

Dolcevita is online. Hopefully she can explain why the thread was locked and why the post was deleted. Till then, if I can request if you can make the thread topic more civil, though that is entirely upto you.

In addition:

If there are duplicate threads regarding BOM, feel free to move them into one thread and rename it to better suit the threads topic.

If a thread becomes a sean or anyone bashing thread, close it and explain that it was closed because it became a sean bashing thread.

Well, she also deleted my post in that thread where I called Raziel a weirdo and a retard. Would I have done that if the freak wasn't still obsessing over me and insulting me at BOM, and then came here anyway? No, he doesn't matter to me.

My post about the forums that was deleted, said that it amazes me how dead it was at lunch time, and I can't believe how Sean killed that hole, or something to that effect.

I was singled out, or other stuff would have been deleted, and I don't like somebody on a power trip at all. That's why Sean killed BOM, and a power trip by anybody here isn't a real good idea either. :wink:

No you did not post threads similar to Ahmed. Ahmed posted notes saying how many users were on a line...a joke about the decrease in posts over at that site due to Sean's mishandling of it. You posted direct attacks. There is a fine difference. To quote bABA, quoting KJ, who posted the rules after we all came to a mutual agreement about what they were:

I locked the thread not because of you, but because I saw that it could quickly escalate into a bashing thread of person not on this site and having nothing to do with it. If you care to make comments about users and MODs currently at *World* that is fine, this this thread will stay open, no problem. But we have come to a conclusion that we want *World* to be a stable and independant community, and NOT some reactionary Daily Smile that's sole purpose is to sit around and make fun of non-registered *World* members.

If anyone else has problems with my *shitty* attitude, please keep them in this thread...I will check in and if I see no one is inclined to my modding here, I will step down by the end of the day, and let forums be run by someone else of either the members or MOD's choosing.

I don't plan on .. which is why I've requested for the name to be changed. Other than that, we've put up forum guidelines that clearly state that if a thread is locked or a moderator takes some action without explanation, they are accountable for it. This applies to all the moderators here, including me. Once again, I do not respect the language but none of us wish to be like hardasses here.

I do ask for this to go to a PM level.

Also, I wish to point out one thing.

I woke up a couple of days ago to find myself admin. I did not ask for this though I do not mind the position. But as far as I'm concerned, I do not wish to exercize any admin powers here at all. This is Eagle's site and all final decisions/changes come from him. I will only exercize them if Eagle locks himself out again (LOL) or hes not around and the forum develops a problem. So just asking people that as far as I'm concerned, I'm a mod here as well.

Also, I dont think you should see dolce as your enemy. She has put in alot of hard work around her. Her as well as the rest of us just don't want to focus on BOM so much bc we want this site to grow bc of US, not because of how shitty a place bom is. Of course people are still gonna be upset, hell even I am still a little pissed and im sure there will be other mentions of sean...ect, but not letting it go wont get us anywhere.

Mav when I made comments about you on BOM it wasn't behind your back, I knew full well you were reading it. And it wasn't that harsh, it was pretty mild, I even said that I thought you were probably a nice guy in real life. But then I can be too generous.

He may have been wrong in not telling people why they were banned, but personal attacks thrived over at BOM, just like they will thrive here.

Of course Sean was wrong. But he overreacted to his so called "personal attacks". Those are just complaints and quite mild, and he took it too personally. Anyway, people can have heated debates without making such a comment. the comment above is rather pointless, and the only purpose it serves is to try to incite and get something back from the other person. Just my personal opinion, and I'll let the issue rest.
