Some statistics for you all with 64 ballots in:
There are 135 total nominees in 27 categories;
100% of them have at least 2 votes (135/135);
91.9% of them have at least 5 votes (124/135);
66.7% of them have at least 10 votes (90/135);
There is one 5-nominee category where 2 nominees have more than 20 votes;
There are two 5-nominee categories where 3 nominees have 15 votes or more;
There is one 5-nominee category where all 5 nominees have at least 11 votes;
There is another one where all 5 nominees have at least 10 votes and no one has more than 15 votes;
There are 10 categories where at least 4 nominees have at least 10 votes.

There's some hope for Bad Education yet! \:D/ What are the two? Me and makeshift!
w00t! 64 people is getting super high! I know the poster awards got 55 right Lecter? So we've already beat that with still 4-5 days of voting left!
But this is not good enough for me. I am demanding damnit! I want 90-100 ballots. Listen everyone! Scan the list and see if you are close with anyone that hasn;t voted yet...send them a pm and tell them to get on it. Remind them of the deadline, harass them to death!. BTW, sans Riggs who already passed his in, where the hell of the Northern Europeans (Germany/Austria) Samweis and Lecter...you guys better pass in votes. The Canadians need to get their asses in gear too. A couple of you are up their, Neo, X, wertham, but c'mon, where are Boxie's and rusty's votes? And DON'T get me started on the boys from Downunder! Termi, Ripper, Moviedude, Masked_Roide? Dove siete?
That's ten more votes right there (I think). Go go go go!

Sadly, I have a suspicion I know which one that is. Consider it a "sampling" of votes, but because I sent out the ballots I accidentally reveived about 8 or so of them that I had to then pass on to the counters. I cheated (sorry ) and looked (I already passed mine in, so no biggie). I actually didn't look for the first few days, but kept them in my box incase the counters misplaced them, etc. Unfortunately, my curiosity got hte better of me. It might not mean much, but in one category, 6 our of the 8 were the same, and I have a feeling that's the category that is leading its nearest competitor by over 20.

Well, we got into trouble with that in the pOster final count with NCAR's vote, which is why I thought to do it this time, but hey, if you want to think its cause I am so generous, than I'm not going to argue with you. :wink:
Oh about the 5 or 3 person category..I missed that part, #-o it has 6 entries (hence why one could outdistance itself from the field).

I have a feeling animated has probably the biggest lead. (between one or two films)

Galia, I have a feeling your suspicion is misplaced. :wink: How each race is developing has been quite fascinating. In some categories, you have one nominee surging ahead right from the beginning and make one think the win is in its back pocket, but only to have another nominee getting 8 out of 10 new ballots and be right back in the race. In other categories, you have several nominees neck-in-neck all the way through. As makeshift said, I really have had fun tallying them.
