It took you people 40 minutes to present two awards? I'll be back tomorrow night, maybe you'll be up to Best Actress by then.

Best Animated Feature:
I gave A- grades to all three Happy Feet, Cars, and Monster House, but I would probably pick Happy Feet at the front of them all.

This is really the only category I don't care about.
Only saw Monster House and Over the Hedge, and neither impressed me.

BEST MAKEUP
This category is all about honouring the artistry of makeup in film. While I don’t really know much about makeup from personal experience (although I do get to wear makeup once in a while when I’m in a big play production, but that’s usually just basic stuff to make your skin darker so you don’t look like white plastic on stage), I can’t keep count of the number of times I myself or a group of friends are delayed in going out because one of the girls (or better yet, a bunch of them) are busy still “applying†their makeup stuff. (That was the longest run on sentence ever.) In any event, with how bloody long it takes girls to put on their makeup, it is CLEARLY a very complicated process. So, I give makeup artists all the credit in the world for the artistic things they do in film, because that process is often 20 times more difficult. Congratulations to our makeup artists tonight.
Our nominees this year for Best Makeup are a great group of nominees, and I’m proud to present this category. 2006 was such a strong year for makeup artists, that we have 7 nominees. The nominees are:
Apocalpyto
Children of Men
The Hills Have Eyes
Pan's Labyrinth
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
The Queen
X-Men: The Last Stand
And the winner is....
