Thanks guys. I barely scraped by. I need to thank xiayun 1000x times over for really going the extra mile this year. It was just me and him the entire time and he carried a lot of the load. His graphs pretty much made the show this year.

Re: 2007 WOKJ Motion Picture Awards Show: Live!
WTF? LOL
Overrated much, but okay.
Thanks to makeshift and xiayun for the effort and the interesting graphs (great idea!). Good ceremony, nice set of winners - I'll be happy if the Oscars have as good winners as these (Jesse James for Cinematography and Atonement for Screenplay were the best picks). Sad to see movies like Persepolis and Lars not getting a bone, but it was hard considering how many people saw them in the first place.

Not much come to mind, so I'll simply Thanks All! Even with some nice pictures, the show wouldn't be what it was without everyone's participation.

I think I officially hate Ratatouille. Or at least everyone's love for it. I'm happy I didn't vote, cuz it was the only one of the five nominated I saw that wasn't awful (the only other being Zodiac, which is the second-most overrated movie of last year; it flat out sucks).

Hah, Ratatouille. It didn't get my vote, but good job, guys.
Loved the graphs, too.
Quick question, though...
Xiayun, I think, said I broke the adapted screenplay tie.
I did?
I thought I voted for... Into the Wild!

I thought I voted for... Into the Wild! Ha, you're right. It's Korrgan, who was second-to-last vote I counted. Didn't check the graph closely (it showed Into the Wild had the last jump), and I just assumed. Sorry about that.

Re: 2007 WOKJ Motion Picture Awards Show: Completed
YES!! Brilliant No.1! GO RAT!!!! I didnt vote for it because I thought No Country had a better chance against Atonement and I dearly didnt want Atonement to win. Thankfully Atonement didnt win. Would have been happy with a Rat, No Country or Zodiac win. Shame King of Kong didnt win doco - it should have. Great to for DDL, Bardem, Page, Rat screenplay and animated, Falling Slowly, Transformers and STARDUST!!! Thanks Xia and Makeshift for the hard work.

How on earth did Transformers lose to a bunch of animated animals?

Wooh! Great read, this entire thread! Kudos to Xia and Makeshift, and there were some great category introduction speeches. I only saw maybe two movies this year in theatres and I still found this thread to be immensely entertaining to read! In fact...better than the movies I watched.
Quick, while the two hosts are out back in the infirmary recovering, getting bandaged up, and replenishing their electrolytes, I nominate them for next year's show already.

Good choices overall, but it just goes to show you how many people didn't see Zodiac. But since Ratatouille was my second favorite film this year, I can't be too disappointed.

GO RATATOUILLE (though No Country would've gotten my vote). Juno got owned. Btw, could you post the Overlooked graph? I think you missed it.
