I have a feeling that it was seen by fewer people here than Kiss Kiss...
I know I still have to see it (it's my most antecipated movie right now)

I love most of these nominations, guys! Good variety.
On the other hand, In Her Shoes is unlikely to score even a single nod. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME.
Go Amy Adams for Supporting Actress. Or I will geek out.

Next thing you know, George Clooney (unlikely) and Matt Damon (extremely, positively likely) will be snubbed. Syriana was the paradigm of mediocrity. Look at that. I used a big word. Speaking of Syriana, I should rewatch it. Looking back, it couldn't have been as bad as I remember it. Bleh. Do it! The first time I saw Syriana, I was not that impressed. At all. But after a second viewing, I was able to catch on to so much more and understand so much more, which led it to vault up to one of my favorites of the year.
That might help. It was too overblown the first time. Too much for it's own good. I liked the message, just not so much the headache that came with it. It wasn't bad, but I wasn't enthused. That, and the fact that there was SO MUCH talent that I felt was underutilized.

With Bello and Johansson (and Williams, Adams, and Weisz being kinda-cute), Best Supporting Actress is DEFINITELY the hottest category.

The worst category so far, IMO.
I didn't see Williams and Adams, but Johansson was just decent and certainly not otustanding (eat that, Ross). She has been better in the past and Rhys-Meyers definitely was better than her.
Weisz was good, but certainly overrated in The Constant Gardener.
Bello really deserves it, though. I am throwing my support behind her.

Great list that thankfully avoids going anywhere near North Country. Too bad no Gong Li though, I was really hoping she'd sneak in here, probably over Johansson or Weisz.
Go Amy!

4 for 5 there. Johansson's the weakest in the category and should have been replaced with Thandie Newton or Diane Keaton.

Now I'm curious as to how many actually saw Junebug. Again, if you haven't, SEE IT.

Yeah, really, what is Scarlett Johansson doing there? Girl wasn't too brilliant in Match Point.
Shirley MacLaine or Gong Li, people. It was the way to go.

Scarlett Johansson reminds me of Donna on "That 70s Show". They even talk alike.
