It sort of is, considering how new the movie is and how... unique it is. I think we're a "special" group here

I'm sickened by the lack of love for Syriana No score, screenplay, ensemble or editing? You all suck. Next thing you know, George Clooney (unlikely) and Matt Damon (extremely, positively likely) will be snubbed.

VERY well-deserved for Crash, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Match Point.
Match Point and KKBB are among the five best screenplays of the year. KKBB is actually THE best screenplay of the year.

Syriana was the paradigm of mediocrity.
Look at that. I used a big word.
Speaking of Syriana, I should rewatch it. Looking back, it couldn't have been as bad as I remember it. Bleh.

The best screenplay of the year misses out by one point.

The Squid and the Whale is the biggest snub by far and the only snub I have real problem with. It's so freaking deserving.

Yeah, if BB keeps getting shut-out, Sin City will get a huge chunk of the fan-boy vote.

Do it! The first time I saw Syriana, I was not that impressed. At all. But after a second viewing, I was able to catch on to so much more and understand so much more, which led it to vault up to one of my favorites of the year.

I wish they wouldn't.
