Yes, Dr. Lecter you are correct because of the rules. Which you set up if I am not mistaken.

I am just amused that you need to collect everyones votes before you decide who to vote for. I noticed that you opened my votes within 3 minutes of me sending them to you.

I'm not laughing. Listen, Ripper and I and have been doing everything within our power to turn these noms around since after they were announced there has been a heavy aura of negativity. That negativity can be traced to post like the one above. If no one wants these, or isn't going to enjoy them, we won't continue. but what was supposed to be a fun little thread has of late become the equivalency of ralleying the troops. Please help instead of hurt the effort. What the hell does it matter when someone does or doesn't vote? Worst comes to worst they vote for themselves and their friends, that's probably what everyone, with rare exception, does anyways. I'm sick and tired of trying to do damage control on the negativity that has plagued these awards. This stands for everyone, don't like it? Don't participate. Want to see it work even better? Please vote.

With 40 participants and so many excellent choices in each category (I know most of mine didn't get noms) 5 or 6 people voting for one person in a category will push it through. If we had 100 voters, that wouldn't happen. But we don't and this board is fairly new...and b******g about who votes when is exactly what is going to deter people from participating in this and future awards, a consequence of which, 6 votes will swing a category again.

Can we please just make this fun and positive and something to entice members' participation instead of the freaking mushroom cloud of *World*?

Why not try and have a positive effect on these awards, while I see some of your concerns the way at which you go about expressing them leaves alot to be desired.

Offering to help would be a good start...

Does someone here mean to tell me that not a single person voted today?

Wow. Now I feel the frustration of our National system.

However, unlike pickin' the prez...I have no problem with bribery this time around.

Not let me think... :?:

whether people agree or not, I think its a smart thing for the hosts to not vote till the end. Thats what I did as well. It helps with potential tie breaking situations.

But then basically one person end up deciding the outcome.
