It's not just you, Eagle. I get along with everyone here. But, it's hard not to notice a general disliking for Michael from Arsi, and I figured you had the same opinion, and I never quite understood why Michael gets such a tough time from Arsi. If you didn't mean it harshly, that's fine.

By the way; im not a Jessica Alba hater; she just seems like a bimbo and images of her writhing naked across a bed dosent exactly help her case against that.
And Mr.X seriooously leave it alone Its up to Eagle and Arsi how they run KJ; and if theres a disagreement that cannot be resolved then it cannot be resolved. Don't get into arguments on my behalf since im not going to be posting back in any arguments. Really theres no use in burning more bridges just to defend someone who barely even posts.

Well, I beg to differ slightly... seeing her naked on a bed... oh, I won't get into it.

I dunno. I have a much tougher time with the idea of people with opportunities not going through college now than three decades ago. And that goes for athletes, actors, artists, everyone. Especially someone like Alba who is set. She could do part time, and just cool it on movies for a few years. Either that or take semesters off at a time. But even that I have less faith in. Go to school for goodness sake, you have the money and at one point this stuff does start to come through in interviews and an actresses ability to take on very mature roles.

Michael, Mr X isn't going around burning any bridges.
I don't know why Arsi doesn't like Michael, if he infact doesn't, and thats something you can ask him. Me personally, I don't even know Michael so I can't really say.
I never really talked to him, I think once or twice via AIM, but don't know him well at all. I just happen to adore Alba and to see people that know nothing about her jump all over her I didn't like
Christ if i was 24, gorgeous and wealthy, I wouldn't go to school either. Different people have different goals.

You could, but I can still think you would be nearing 30 and have the educational development of a 17 year old.
SOme people don't fit that bill, and I still have a marginal concept of the self-made man, but the other 99%, just ain't feeling it. All that would indicate to me is that you have alot of money, not alot of brains.

See on that, I would have to say I dissagree.
School has done very littel for me intelligence wise, and if I had never gone, I think I would be much the same person.

Theres no reason; she came over as being an airhead on the tv show. Thats all. I'll now revert to only checking my pms and timmys thread
later.
I think the Fabio/Garner pic was my finest moment.

Some people just can't afford college. My sister is the first person in my family to go to college. So your little assumptions there affend me because I'm gonna have to work my ass off (and I am) to be able to afford it.

Jessica Alba could afford to pay for yours, mine, dolcevita's and possibly even TonyMontana's (if she paid for a new college and gym) college education. What's her excuse?

Rusty, we already established she was filthy rich. I said people with access to it that optionally chose not to consider it, not people that are trying to work towards it or need to work and would have preffered to go to school but the option wasn't available to them. The latter still fall into the category of people who place an emphasis on upper education and are trying to aim towards it, the former have all the means and are not interested. That's what I find troubling. I mentioned that in the post after Eagle said she was rich.

I LOVE Jessica Alba!
She does not need a degree, she's hot and rich! That's a talent. Being beautiful is as much a gift as being smart. Not everyone looks like her, so yeah, she is unique and can use it to her advantage.
Nothing wrong with making good use of what you have. Beauty should be nourished as much as any other gift.

I don't mind. I've always placed a great emphasis on going to college. I'm also sympathetic to people that have trouble getting there and want to be there, which is why I'm more than willing to pay taxes so that students can have better grants, give money to colleges for scholarships to assist students, and set up community supported foundations. But yes, I'm going to stand by the fact that someone who is 24 and rich who doesn't even consider going to college, even if it takes longer because of interuptions due to acting, is probably not much more than a 24 year old rich, nice, girl.
That's fine, but the question at hand when I had posted was her intelligence, and i'll stand by it. It has nothing to do with if she is nice, friendly, attractive, or caring, all of which I'm sure she is. It just has to do with the fact the has full access to great institutions, and only having a high school diploma in 2005 when you had ample opportunity to get a college degree is not something I care to put a stamp of approval on. I'm not talking masters or phd here, i'm talking an bachelor degree. If that makes me a bitch so be it.

I agree to a certain point, but if you look at the actresses who took time off from school their careers often suffered during that time. As an actress I could see workign alot in ones twenties when age is not a factor in getting the plum roles and going back to school later on when at 30 now all you get are roles to play the mother of 35 year old male actors.

I'm with Galia on this one. If you have the money to go to college, you should really go. As for the possibilities of her hurting her career, look at Natalie Portman. She took four years off from acting to attend Harvard, and she's doing just fine.

That's more an exception then a rule, and while in college Portman did not act in many films.
On top of that, Portman was a top notch actress at 12, without college she sounded mature, etc.
While I think evryoen should consider college, I also see that for alot of people even if they ahve the chance to go it may not appeal to them to do so. Would tha fact make it hrad for me to relate to them, yes...as somoene working towards their masters I find it much easier to talk to people who educated then someone who has zero interest in college...but there are several exceptions

I agree with ripper completly.
If she wants to continue to act, and not chance it effecting her career, then why not. If later in her life she decides it is something she would like to do, then she can revisit it with all her money and leisure time.

You also don't need a degree or anything to be succesfull and intelligent. There's a man I know who didn't graduate high school and happends to be a millionaire now.
So the logic of if you got money, you automatically should get a diploma is rubbish. Lots of people don't have diploma's and manage to be succesfull in life so why can't they.
