I think Moderator elections are stupid. It's not about who's popular, but who can do the job the best.

These new admins suck major cock, for reals.

Why don't you ask people for applications and make them fill in questions and then decide by that. If you think X has the capacity to do the job with an unbiased (emphasis) opinion then he/she should be able to do the job.

Unless you want the forums to become extremely conservative and boring, then over employ moderators.

Agreed. This is ridiculous. And when you have most of the forum regulars (and ones who don't cause nonsense like Argos and his 840 personalities) saying this is not a good idea and the new admins ignore it?? Yeah.............

Mods = who is best for the job NOT who is most popular.

To jump on the bandwagon is not always a wise move: It could lead to the realms of falsehood and misery.

I guess Torrino's first job as admin will be deciding whether or not to let Argos/Cabuche run for mod.

I suspect Cabuche will decide to not run since it would be nearly impossible for Torrino to allow him to. And Cabuche pulling out is better for Argos than being outed.

If they let me, I run if I want, it does not have anything to do with Argos.

Argos is already a mod, loyol. I don't see why he would need to run.

Unlike loyalfromlondon, torrino knows better that this stupid theory is stupid, because he already was in a live chat with both me, Cabuche and Argos among others and among other things, therefore his decision cannot be influenced by this paranoia bullshit, like yolyafromlondon and his "the moon does not exist" theories.

Cabuche just because you only talk when Argos is banned doesn't mean your voice isn't already getting heard when he is active.

Holding moderator decisions has nothing to do with democracy. You don't see Obama selecting police officers.

WE visited torrino in his irc chat, it was, among other people, me (cabuche), Argos and also the Samurai de l'Hombre (gorobei) later in the evening. He talked to us at the same time and he knows we were different people and are still different people, of course. It is not a secret or a conspiracy, I don't know where this stupid accusation comes from, just because I know Argos does suddenly mean he is me, Cabuche, and I am him, but this is just like denying the holocaust.

Really got to applaud the Western Jawbone method going on here.

Have Argos (and his "friends") vote against you in the final vote to make it look like he is fair and balanced. then snack becomes elected. wow, brills.
