Last year I lost over 80 pounds (my starting weight was 312). I've maintained 230 since May and have made exercise a part of my routine. I aim for five days a week, and at least manage four. I can't properly explain how good it feels to be healthier, mentally and physically. I have issues with depression and anxiety, which I personally feel the exercise helps. Of course I've had a head cold the last two days and I'm really missing my workouts, but the ol' energy is sapped. Tomorrow hopefully.

Why are some people here so god damn rude? His height and weight is more than normal and a special congratulations should be given for him loosing 80 pounds. Good fucking job, dude and fuck people.

I was saying he might be muscular and not overweight at all. I was trying to defend him. Sorry if it did not seem that way.

So, to conclude: Mister Ecks is plump.

I'm 6'5'' and fluctuate between 200 and 205lbs, and while that doesn't make me overweight, I do feel rather chubby. Then again, quitting smoking around 11 years ago and went from 185 pounds to over 240, so I'm pretty content with where I am now too.

What's it like to be so tall? My goal height was always 6 2 but I never made it.

It's convenient for reaching things, less convenient for things like airplanes and public transport because of leg room and seats just not being designed for tall people. Heck, even with office chairs it can be a problem, because many of them are designed for people no taller than like... 6'. Clothing can be an issue too, depending on exactly what it is that makes you tall; with me, it's more my upper body than my legs, which means the best fit for my body (medium) can be on the short side, so it's either go with a shirt that's sort of short or pick a bigger size that's just a bit too roomy.

I don't feel especially tall though, but that's because the Netherlands as a whole are just a very tall country. The average here for men is 6'1'' and for women it's 5'7'', which I believe makes us, on average, the tallest nation on Earth. I mean, I'm the tallest person at our company, but there's plenty that come close, and going about town I run into people taller than I am pretty regularly. Even women sometimes, which I find a bit... freaky. >.>

It's not when your entire country is made up of tall freaks. On my trips to the US though, I have had people gawking or even coming up to compare heights. I feel a lot taller over there.

Well, as I thought, I've lost weight. Now 85.5kg (188lbs).

What's the most weight you've lost over one stretch?

For me it would be 14 kg (31 lbs) between July and October 2014.

A couple of weeks ago I started a diet/work-out routine again, with the goal to shed another 11 kg (24 lbs). Lost 2 kg (4.4 lbs) over the past two weeks, now down to 87 kg (192 lbs) at a 185 cm height (6'1). I am building up muscle at the same time, though, so the final goal will probably be somewhere around 80-82 kg (176-181 lbs).

I lost a bit of weight my freshman year. I think I was around 150 lb 5' 4'' and I went down to a little under 130. Then my sophomore year I grew a bit to 5' 7'' and didn't gain any weight. In junior year I hit my current height of 5' 10'' and filled out a bit to around 142. These are all estimates, I don't remember the exact numbers, but they should be approximately correct.

It was quite odd to go from chubby to a twig.
