No, signore. I am a lady. My word will do.
But you may choose to use logic as well. Not voting for the festival = pain. So any alternative by comparison would be tantamount to pleasure.

If They Shoot Horses, Don't They? is anything to go by he might win one if he's secretly Gig Young.
Is he secretly Gig Young? Only the awards ceremony will tell.

HAH! That's a great analogy!
I could only think of Cold Mountain. Stupid selective memory.

Christian, if you're still lurking about this thread, I hope you checked out the 1931 post in the Oscar history thread.
It's a boring year, but posted that today just for you.

And because the people nominated are genuinely better people than the rest of you scum.
Can you remind me to actually go through with that next time? There was BallotPM saying "Oh MovieDude you're doing so well, maybe you should spend an hour participating in the popularity contest!", and although I've never been a fan of these things, I spent a long ass time filling the paper out. Did I expect any big nominations? No, I'm way too much of an asshole to a lot of people on here for that. There's a couple types of people on here, the people who throw comedy into every thread and situation (not nessecarily a bad thing, don't get me wrong, although it can get frustrating), the people who say they love everyone and give out online hugs and never say a single interesting, unique, or challening idea (those people... no comment), and the jerks who go around pointing out details and critcizing some of the mentally challenged *SPIDER-MAN* posters on the site. I noticed a number of trends with the nominations, most of which I shouldn't mention as they'll probably piss off a number of people. Still, point is I was just hoping for a Hottest Poster nomination. Yeah, it's shallow, but I guess I just had this funky logic where I figured since I think I'm much more well liked in my daily life then on here, maybe I could get that one nomination for a change. I'm just... holy shit, I'm SO FUCKING SICK of getting nominated for Biggest Movie Buff. My name has "Movie" in it, so I guess the logic is that the nomination is my consolation prize for being shut out. But seriously, I'm 16 years old, I don't know SHIT about movies in comparison to 65% of the posters here. I still haven't seen a single one of the Godfather films, the only Kubrick films I've seen are 2001 and Dr. Strangelove. Yeah, it's shallow as hell, no way around it. But man, I just thought this time if I campaigned without being overbearing I could get that one nomination. But nope, a poster who doesn't even have a fucking picture of themself gets nominated when they weren't even trying for it. Rod is a really cool guy, and I appreciate his honest attitude as a change of pace, but for some reason... Whatever. So yeah, I guess I gotta be honest when I say I'm bitter about a popularity contest. But ah well, I'm just happy I can admit that I'm shallow and was not in the mood for something ego deflating like this. Ah well, maybe I'll just get drunk tonight.

It turns out, I did ok by not coming to this ceremony. Like Sean Penn, I will only attend when I know I´m getting something...
At least some of my picks got there! Specially happy for Rod, Mike Q., Christian, Dolcevita, Baba, Michael, Lecter, Xiayun... you got my vote, bitches, WHERE ARE YOURS????
P.S.: Best "not nominated poster" category is the best! Me, Android, Cotton, Andrew, and many others... we rule!

I was too tired last night, but I read the whole thread now.
These are the most diverse nominees in a while here. Good job! I like those. I think I rarely ever had so little issues with any noms. Certainly some people were snubbed, but there is only this much spots anyway. I am glad that the number of spots per category was reduced to five, that makes it more interestijg, methinks. And as for people who were nominated, I think 99% of them very well deserve it too.
Time to thanks BallotPM and Zingaling for the hard work and tell the lazy bum of torrino to screw himself.

You know, I actually wanted to vote for you as Biggest Movie Buff as well, not because of your name, but simply because you do see so many movies each year, often even moreso than me (and I see a whole lot). But then I reemembered your rant about this categry and left you out of it. I did have you in another one, though. You deserved a Funniest Poster nom, if only for your posts to Spider-Man alone, hehe.

Oh and thanks to everyone who nominated me, folks! Considering ther competition, though, I have heavy doubts that I stand a chance against my competitiors in each category.
But ya know, the box-office one would be nice
However, my co-nominees are more deserving there.

I frankly don't want to be a part of any award show that would nominate people like loyalfromlondon, Krem, Snrub, dolcevita, Korrgan, rusty, and Dr. Lecter. Then again, I'd hate to lose to any of those disgusting, vile, sick and twisted aforementioned individuals. It's probably right that I stay in the competition just to expose the underhanded dealings of my opponents. Whether my opponents are hatching offspring at the age of 14 (Korrgan), being the reason we had to build nuclear bomb shelters in our back yard in the 50's (Krem), having sex with baba (loyalfromlondon and dolcevita - at the same time), or posing as a Doctor just to "hand out" free mamograms (Dr. Lecter), I will be there exposing the truth. I don't even need to tell you about rusty and snrub - their debauchery is well documented. I don't even know what a debauchery is, but I'm told it is bad.
On another note, I'd like to sarcastically thank everyone for failing to nominate me in 17 categories, thus making me a 77% failure.
