If it makes you feel better terminator, I voted for you. But I guess the counters forgot that my vote counts over all.

:x Recognize the uniqueness and hotness of the hairy David Hasselhoff!
And as a matter of fact I voted for you too, mainly because it's a scene from a horror movie

This is going to be one f.i.n.e. and f.u.n beachparty is all I have to say. And that's saying something, since I typically hate the freakin' beach. Oh, then ya'll seriously need to vote. Its way to close on both islands then. So, do the guys and the girls get stranded on different islands? Or can we, you know, merge them?
Ohhhh. I wanna go. That would be one helluba a party. I should have been more active during the nomination time, so I could stealaway a nom in every catageory because I am so perfect

Best Box Office Predictor = 3 people within 1 vote of eachother for the lead! Best Writer of Posts = 2 people within1 vote of eachother for the lead! Most Mysterious Poster = Tied for the lead! Smartest Poster = 2 people within 1 vote of eachother for the lead! Most Missed Poster = 2 people within 1 vote of eachother for the lead! Best Thread = Is with in 2 votes. The lead has switched off depending who recently cast a ballot! The Men on Desert Island = All of them have over 12 votes. They are all seriously close to eachother, and I really wouldn't mind a tie 'cause that just means more for me...but whatever...we can't actually have a five-way tie..
So Vote!

Thanks for the nominations guys.
I'll lose again, but thanks.
Btw, BJ, Mr. X, and others really deserved some noms. Not to say the ones nominated didn't (they all did, of course, and justly so), but it's just that we suffer from an embarassment of riches when it comes to great posters.
Good luck with the awards.

Comon, who can vote for someone else in this catogory? For those who didn't vote yet, make the right choice and vote for me.

HA! Don't let Scott's avatar persuade you. Vote for the guy who has only one chance at winning anything.
BTW, I want to thank everyone who nominated me for BO predictor. It was the one nomination I really wanted. So, being snubbed everywhere else doesn't really hurt that much.
Also, I'm glad to see the yahoo thread nominated.
I wish some other guys were nominated more. How did Ross not get nominated for best BO predictor?

The one bad thing about counting votes, no surpises, the one good thing is i get to know who each indvidual poster thinks is funny, smart, etc...
It ss interesting, to say the least

I'm glad your thread and you were nominated. I wish you were nominated for Best Debator too, out of all people who I debate about box-office with, with you it's usually the most fun, heh.
And I'll be honest. I have not done any preliminary counting yet, but heck, I'd be very surprised if Yahoo Reviews Thread didn't win considering its popularity.

One simple reason. I did not want to vote yet and it is my good right not to do so.

Uh-oh...Dp and Scott duking it out on the campaign trail.
Even a fourth person in that category is within 3. It is by far the tightest race.
Which reminds me, Scott was awsome and passed in his ballot, DP07...I'm still waiting...and I don't like to be kept waiting *tap tap.*
@Ripper. I dunno, I've never counted before and I'm having an okay time seeing how the races pan out. Its like watching the marathon, where the lead keeps changing, and not knowing who is going to get it until about mile 24.

Both David and Scott are great choices. To think of it, I expect all of us in that category to get some votes. Martin(Samweis) may not be as visible as the rest of us in posting predictions and participating discussions, but he has been one of the best for a very long time.

Xiayun, seriously, you are not too bad either. The nominees are very deserving this time around in that category. You are right about Martin, though. He has been under the radar recently, but he has always been a great predictor. I wish Ragnarok was nominated as well.

I'm nominated for Nicest Poster too, so I have to find that balance when campaigning.
To me, Samweis is a representive for all the great BOM predictors that are posting less here at KJ: Ragnarok, Gemini, darth pimp...

I counted during the noms last time I did it (which is harder since so many names are thrown around), in alot of the races it is cool to see how things change and how a few votes make a difference.
And it is interesting to see when my opinion differs greatly from the masses, but a small prt of me misses being surprised by who won.
But I would definitely volunteer to count during this round again, but nominee coutning is HELL..HELL

God, Cyn, how true, how true. This is why I didn't do it this time
I remember our recounting over ICQ Man, that was horribly exhausting.
