Woohoo! My favorite two scores of the year (in reverse order). And the only two scores in recent history I've liked almost as much as Phillip Glass!

Munich's ensemble is being shamefully ignored!!!

Other than that, good noms, I suppose. The Family Stone, Sin City and Crash all deserved it. I matched my wishes 3/5. AHOV didn't make it, but I didn't expect it to either.

this is just ridiculous. Bale, Neison, Freeman, Oldman, Caine, Murphy, and Wattanabe doesn't earn an ensemble nod? When did the Batman hate begin. Hell even Katie did a good job.

Did everyone leave?

Discuss, people! Or the period between nomination announcements will increase.

Seriously. Good Night had better win this award. Other noms like BBM, had four good performances, but ensemble to me means everyone right down to the guy in the room in the back, did an excellent job. At least seven characters in Good Night all did an excellent job. Its the best total acting work of them all.

Batman Begins lost in a lot of categories by coming in sixth place.

You'll see after the awards.

I thought The Family Stone's cast interacted better, even though BB was a much better movie.

Actually it was. :)

No, I really thought they were both great. It's too bad. BB's cast kicked ass.

The lack of Batman Begins mentions, especially with all its strength categories gone, is definitely the biggest news so far.
