2/5 for me. King Kong's score was good, but it really lacked a memorable theme unlike the LOTR films.
I am very glad Munich got a nom. Its score was sublte, but very effective.
Corpse Bride and W&G got snubbed, but I expected that : (

Woo. Dolce won't kill me for not voting New World (oopsies)
I like these. Pride & Prejudice's Score > King Kong's, though.

Hm, good noms. (though, I hardly remember Munich's score, didn't give it a vote. )
As much as I didn't love New World, the score was excellent, and I didn't give it a vote either. (I need to make a mental note to not send in my ballots a month early. )

The New World has more nominations than everything except a PJ movie.

What's interesting about Munich's score is the subtly. It doesn't sound like anything special alone, but combine it with the images on screen and it's perfect.

The New World has the 2nd biggest number of noms by now, behind King Kong. Who'd have thought...

Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room Grizzly Man Mad Hot Ballroom March of the Penguins Murderball Best line up there could possibly be. This is great, and I wouldn't change a single one of them. This category is dead on. What about Inside Deep Throat, which you voted for OVER Enron. lennier, your loss, not mine.
I didn't love Deep Throat, but I didn't see all of Enron, that's why. I still plan to though.

Exactly. Especially in the first 10-15 minutes, when the taking of hostages and the outcome are reconstructed....great use of score. Overall, Munich is great in technical aspects, it's just that all of them are subtle.

Did people vote for Kong's score just because you think it's score was epic since the movie was epic? Score was one of the weak aspects of the movie.
