Anyone have thoughts on ASUS laptops?

There is a good deal on a decent ASUS laptop at Best Buy and I'm considering buying it but I just don't know much about ASUS.

I have ASUS laptop. I'm pretty happy with it.

Cool. I need a new laptop bad. I practically get 3rd degree burns when I have it on my lap and it smells like burning silicon and plastic.

My phone died on Thanksgiving but I am in the middle of a contract. Anyone know when Nexus 4 will be back in stock? I was considering an HTC One X + but it would cost me about $550 for the phone.

Been refreshing for the last 7.5 hours and still cannot get in to process the order. Now I am at the credit card entering phase and it still fails.

Nexus 4 isn't referring to the 4th generation, rather to the 4'' form factor. If they updated the phone, it wouldn't be the Nexus 5, if the Nexus 7 is any indication, they'd probably just call it the Nexus 4!

iOS 6 jailbreak came out today. I really want to jailbreak just for this one tweak called Auxo (check it out, it's sweet), but I've always been nervous to jailbreak. I don't like if it slows down the phone even a tiny bit (and it's noticeable). Anyone have experience? Is it worth it? Other cool tweaks (that actually look nice, something Apple would do)?

Got my Nexus 4 yesterday. And it's incredible.

Google Glass reactions have started to come in, and so far, they're pretty positive.

If they're a reasonable price when they go public, I'm getting a pair.

Developer edition was $1500, I think the public model will debut around the price of an off contract phone ($599). It's not out of the realm of reality to expect it to debut at $149, I mean, nothing in it is incredibly expensive and it's made of plastic. At that price, I may even get one.

I was thinking about this while waiting in line for a screening. Ya know those film security screeners who sometimes take your phones, ipads, kindles and what not. What happens when an iwatch is created for/by Apple. One that can take/make calls, record video/audio and just do phone stuff mostly on it's 1.25" lcd screen. They gonna make you give up your digital watch too? I just find that whole process extremely annoying. Especially when the film ends and you have to Wait X amount of time to get your device back.

Oh, I'd really like an iwatch too.

Finally jumped on the smartphone wagon the other day and bought an HTC One. Definitely liking it so far.

That looks like a nice phone. I just wish it was able to use ios.
