This law existing doesn't mean it is right and can't be changed (hence the court ruling yesterday), nor does it mean that if it isn't changed that I have all that much respect for people that capitalize on it. That is a personal opinion, and as I stated above, either party that actually deters voters from the stations is going to be undermining the legitimacy not only of the candidate's prospective victory, but of voting and the Democratic process in general.

Anti-sodomy laws are not constitutional. There's nothing unconstitutional about this one. Say, if I came in with someone else's voting registration card and went on to get the ballot, and someone saw me and remembered that I am not a citizen, why shouldn't they be allowed to challenge my vote? Those challengers still have to show a just cause to challenge the vote, you know. That's what voting officials are for, and there are plenty designated ones already at each site. You know that this is something else. These are not the officials and they have neither the training nor a nuetral investigation in mind and you know it.
The voting officials don't know that I am not a citizen; my neighbor does, though.
And yes, the voting challengers are NOT neutral (they do get training by their parties, though), but it does not follow that the challenges will be unjust.

This was discovered by Republicans. Don't know yet who they were cast towards, but I will assume Democrats.

You guys remember the election in Gangs of New York? "You've only voted 11 times? And you call that doing your civic duty?"
and,
"Who cares if we're already out of ballots, don't you know its the counters that make an election, count them again!"
I'm paraphrasing a teeny bit
And for the record, if the Dems planted those votes I'd be equally as pissed with them. I'm not particularly thrilled at anyone who undermines the process and then turns around and demands we enforce clean democracy in other countries. :?

It's Philadelphia. You know, the town that votes 90+% Democrat. Nobody other than the Dems could put those in ;-)

Well that's just it, they already have a landslide so why bother putting it into doubt. If it was in Harrisburg or even Pittsburg it would make more sense. You taking notes Zingy? If you ever want to do a little undercover vote stacking, don't bother with Philly, everyone there already shares you sentiments.
I mean....except Krem.

Pennsylvania is a swing state. So it makes sense to have stuff the ballots, even in Philadelphia.

Well, I voted at about 9:45 AM EST (the polls had been open since 7 AM), and 705 people had already voted, so I heard. It's looking like a big voter turnout, thankfully. Now, I live in suburban VA (which tends to skew Republican), but the voters seemed to be a mix of both parties. Neither side was dominating, at least at this district.

I voted Bush, and I get to vote in a swing state (PA).
Good luck bush, I think he is gonna need it.

You're just biased against democracy, so you're gonna pick at everything you can find. On the whole, though, the system works.

yes it does ... it works inefficiently : )
no that last comment was just there to spite you ... hehehehe ... its just .. man .. such underhanded tactics from people you would think would be more mature ...... and i mean that from both sides really ..
It reminds me after the first debate .. i kept watching the news and they had a democrat and a republican speaker and both just said how bad the other one sucked and how good their own guy is .. I mean come on!! Be a bit more mature about it ... whats with all this one sidedness .... I mean both answered some questions really well yet these idiots (who are helping us make decisions on the country if elected) are showing such immaturity by stating one point and not defending it ... just saying it again and again so the uncertain viewers would just listen to them ...
anyway, whatever ...
democracy rocks !! <- happy?

GOP=Grand Old Party - the Republicans.
The funniest thing is that the Democratic Party is older than the Republican Party.

Found this funny on cnn.com with the following caption:

I watched the news and there was a short interview with Michael Moore, apparently his film crew are gonna film the voting/counting in Ohio and Florida so if theres any hanky panky, if it goes to court theres evidence and the guilty are screwed.

No court in the world (except for the Cannes municipal court) is going to believe Michael Moore.
