actually i think it was because all the bitching was happening behind closed doors and people ganging up to form some kind of plot on AIM or Skype that caused people to leave.

i say all i need to say on this site. people don't like tough titties. at least they know where i stand with them, i don't want to be stuck with a culture of pleasantries and ass kissing to be undone by a drama that probably started from a saved AIM conversation or PM.

The irony of that was there was no "evil" plot it was all a fabrication. It was a poisonous episode though I agree there.

If two posters were having a scuffle, I would make the private forum JUST for them, and they will not be able to post anywhere else until the argument is settled.

No, that doesn't happen on KJ.

Archie Gates is an excellent example of a poster who doesn't bother posting much anymore because of all the nonsense that has gone on.

The Forum. Cmon Loyal lets be honest this forum has had to put up with alot of childish nonsense over the past 18 months. People like me and You can just let it fly and ignore it but many others couldn't be arsed having to tolerant it and just scale back.

Verily, there is a name to this blackness, but never in my life again shall I speak it nor let my mind drift into the agony of contemplating the horrors of these dark days.

Ooh... Passionate Thug would be an excellent mod. Very mature and intelligent. He's like a slightly less sexy version of me.

I'd argue they would have scaled back regardless. Maybe the constant drama pushed them over the edge.

Many of us have been connected together, one way or another, for a large chunk of the 2000s, which of course also means that there's been a lot of aging and shifting of priorities.

Ok, I see you are confused. Let me break out my American Idol scale of sexiness to help you out.

From least sexiest to most sexiest:
Kris Allen--Scott Salvo--Diana Digarmo--Nikki McKibbin--Kelly Clarkson--Carrie Underwood--Amanda Avila--Taylor Hicks

Using the scale above, a dirt sandwhich would be around Scott Salvo.
I would be at Taylor Hicks
Passionate Thug is somewhere around Carrie Underwood

I believe that should clear it up.

That actually did nothing to clear it up.

And I still don't know who Amanda Avila is.

Also, you find men sexy. I need to talk to your wife.

Ok, now I need to break out the math equations!

Taylor Hicks =/= "men".

Taylor Hicks = "The Man".

Therefore, this would be a true statement: "TonyMontana finds 'the man' to be sexy - in a 'women want him, men want to be him' kind of way".

This would be an untrue statement: "TonyMontana finds men to be sexy".

I agree. For that very reason my posting in the Water Cooler has decreased by about 90% in the past 1-2 years.

Maybe the Water Cooler needs to be closed then.

Or limit it somehow. Create a general news thread and a user news thread. Nothing else and remove the ability for users to create new threads in the forum.

Some people like The Water Cooler and its 'nonsense.'

If someone feels above such childish tomfoolery, feel free to post in any of the other, more specific boards. I was hoping the need to unfairly police users and such was over.

@yoshue

Despite my statement above, I kinda agree. I mean only because I don't think 90% of the stuff here is shit, it doesn't mean there aren't people who like the shit, so... I still enjoy the other forums, so why not.
