 I feel like an idiot
I didn't save the ballot I sent you two with my own votes.
Can someone please mail it back to me so I have it?

Go to PM's and then Sent Messages and/or Outbox. Depends on whether the person you sent it to has opened it yet or not.
Also, when you get a chance, explain via PM what exactly you want Zing and me to do.

if you still need it, I can.
I did the same thing, but I did what Torrino said in the above post and got mine back.

No no Torri...I spend way to much time loving getting and sending pm's to not know that. I just cleared all of my sent box earlier because i still have so many messages coming in from the 90 or so ballots I sent out (that are getting picked up) that I keep running out of space. I deleted them all and forgot to keep my own ballot. Torri....give me back my dunce cap god damnit.
Oh yes, and I will pm you and Zing shortly about what you have to do for the pre-party.

No, I did know, I got mine back three days ago, my point was I had sent myself a copy my ballot, and then mistakenly delete it, b/c I thought I moved it to my saved box, when I a hesty delete all. Then I recalled I had yet to clean out my sent mail, and got it back that way.
I'm a bloody computer teaacher you know

I think Hopper is pretty good. That's his most well known, but there is one of a street in early morning before everyone has awaken that I think is a bit better. I didn't realize you knew him. Where did you get the pic? edit* Lecter, is your comp done screening for viruses? Can you send me all the ballots you've received now?
No, I couldn't.
But I can now which I plan on doing.

100 probs...wtf you do with your computer? I must be the last person on earth that has never had a virus on their computer. My boss at work used to get horrible viruses too and when he asked me to run the checks on his computers I had to pretend like I already knew how.
Um, while you're sending the ballots over, any way you could send me mine? Torri and Ripper never actually sent it back over to me last night.

Ok, I'll just add it to the ones I'm sending to you
And as for my computer..well, the thing is that I haven't checked it for the last 1 1/2 years at all...

spyware and virus are 2 different things. Run it on your system Dolce if you haven't done before. You'll be in for a shock!! My work computer is finally free .. but I find a good 10 or 12 on a weekly basis at home.

I have finally made a transition to Mozilla. I liked IE much more, but I start getting used to Mozilla. IE is just too unsafe.

yea ..
mozilla reminds me too much of netscape. Same loading logic and everything. I thought the tabs were cool till i realized that well .. they weren't.
the only thing i like about them is security.

Which is a major issue. If something you catch online through IE destroys your computer the look of your browser will be the last thing you'll care about.
However, I can relate. A friend of mine, a good hacker and somewhat of a computer geek has been telling me for many months that I should use Mozilla or Opera, but I always refused because IE is just so...convenient.

I know ...
I'm okay with it though. At work, enough firewalls. at home, the only thing they'll destroy is my collection of powerpuff girls cartoons : )

just create a partition on your hard drive. and save all your data on the partition, not the drive with your OS.

Security should take precedence over the rest of it, IE is just a dangerous broswer to use...why bother with making our browser secure and useful, god no why would are customers want that.

again .. its a case by case scenario. Security is not a priority for me ... per say ... because i have other security options that are preventing things .. plus my data is safely residing somewhere else .... so all that really happens with me is annoying pop ups, no more.
I do consider a user experience very important. Considering a big portion of my time on the computer involves being on the net, an unuser friendly browser is hard to deal with ... ofcourse, its unfriendly for me ... not for others ...
