The problem is people think racism today is explicit racism.
We all get happy if all pile on someone for being explicitly "racist" and think we are amazing people fighting against injustice.
It is all stupid and pointless.
Real racism today is implicit racism that exists through how we think and stereotypes and is a issue that does not effect only ignorant people. I am certain many of us on here implicitly have such thoughts without even realizing it.
That is the type of racism that allows black guys to be shot by cops and no one gets in trouble.
However implicit racism is impossible to catch however if we all go twitter into a big circle jerk of outrage over one guys tweet, I think to many that is stopping racism.
