As for her historical remembrance , she was important during the 80s. However, I don't think I would rank her as one of the top 5 prime ministers for Great Britain.

As for her historical remembrance , she was important during the 80s. However, I don't think I would rank her as one of the top 5 prime ministers for Great Britain. I agree I think William Pitt the Younger, Lloyd George, Gladstone, Churchill and Atllee rank higher.. Of the past thirty years, even with all the controversy she easily beats the likes of Blair, Brown and Cameron. Imo no point celebrating she has gone, because in the she won. Just look at how the Labour Party talks today, it pretty much takes Thatchers view point and add's a soft touch to them.  _________________The Dark Prince

I would put Liverpool over her too, considering how he steadied the British Empire after Napoleon. I agree about the last 30 years though.
