Not lately.

It's a continuing trend that won't stop. I admire MovieDude's passion here, but it's not going to stop. I stopped trying a long time to ago to engage people in discussions on serious topics. It's a losing battle.

I'm not saying we can't all joke around. Anyone can make anything funny in the right context. But sometimes it's nice to have serious discussions with people too.

I am not blameless by the way. I'm not someone who should or would engage in serious talk all the time. That's not me. But I feel bad for those that would like to sometimes.

Then why was BKB banned?

I think the forums can be what you make of them within reason.

You may hate Canadians Magnus, but that somehow never is interesting enough for a post. I think it's a social thing, obviously the media is the medium.

As to the article, I think she might be letting them have more attention than they deserve. But the tabloids can be pretty ridiculous.

Who cares. I love being misogynistic, racist and homphobic. It's what reminds me that I'm still being controlled by myself. That's a hard thing to achieve in Western society.

So, looks like Ashley Judd will not be running for Senate.

Kinda disappointed, I gotta admit. I really, really like her and Mitch McConnell needs to be stopped. Oh well.

She realised it's a bad career move. Judd rocks more than ever now.

She wasn't going to win, and it is a winnable seat. She is doing what is best for her party.

There are a bunch of reports like that. Being high profile isn't always a good thing, see that woman who "dabbled in witchcraft" back in 2010. if she is truly interested in politics, she would likely be better off going for congress. Much easier election to win. And unfortunately, love or hate Mitch McConnell, should he lose, there are a dozen other Republicans just like him, many worse, one of whom will take his place.

By all accounts, MM was one of the few republicans involved in the debt & sequester talks who at least pretends to consider Barack Obama's ideas. He may have given the infamous "goal is ensuring Obama is a one term president" line, but he isn't as bad as many of the loons that party has right now.

I remember a lot of people went after Jennifer Lawrence looking "fat" in X-Men First Class and Hunger Games...

Men are always going to have some sort of primal feelings towards females but a matured person, is a person who can control such feelings.
