Goldie, consider this an *OFFICIAL WARNING* Lecter had nothing to do with it and I have noticed the subtle context in which you keep directing such underhanded and agrressive responses at him. There are plenty of people I don't like on this board, I just don't respond to their posts. I'm sure they can attest to that. Archie and Miru voiced concern about the voting process, and because of it, we are looking into it and making some changes, but c'mon...its some goddamn awards. Not the 2000 general election. Lecter is not Jeb Bush, Jon is not Ketherine Harris.
That being said, the other points being addressed here are worthy of address. Jon seems very busy and to be having computer trouble. Unfortunately, we mailed out ballots yesterday, so instead, I am going to ask that Jon forward me the ballots, and if he can't Lecter will forward me his, and I will assist in the counting if people would be more comfortable with that? If this is something award voters would be comfortable with please post it here so I know. If having a MOD still seems suspicious, we'll figure something out.
Just be warned, if I count...the votes will actually be stacked. :wink: You'll have to wait and see how though. :wink:

No LMR, its not too harsh. I'm getting sick of opening up threads and seeing this kinda crap. Its like the parties involved don't actually want to see this forum thrive and just want to drag down the family in a Montagues and Capulets style vendetta.
We have personally asked that if people have issues with forum conduct they pm the MODs instead of making it a public issue that ruins the place for everyone. Thus far this seems to be the case with these two. I have received voiced concerns about the process of these awards and that is how it should have happened. Then we can deal with the issues and everyone can go around having a good time. As far as category suggestions, etc, that stuff is fine to post in this thread because we want input on how to change the wards for the next time. That is it. And those concerns i have received via pm I am adressing, but these snide remarks have nothing to do with that. My eyes aren't in the back of my head, and I'm getting really sick of this.

You know, one thing I have noticed, though is that some people just take these awards too seriously. Thankfully, there are only few of these people, but still, you forget the awards are supposed to be FUN and not a Bush vs. Kerry-like drama.

And why are you saying that if you have a low post count, you shouldn't be counting votes? Just because you don't make too many posts, doesn't make you incapable of counting votes. You've given Lecter and the counters nothing but crap since this was first accounced, and it's really pissing me off that their working so hard and you can't appreciate it and you ask for them to step down.
