So, Torrino says I'm lame for being bored and not going out. Why? Because as aforementioned, my parents would ask too many questions.

I just thought I'd share that with you.

...Interesting. torrino would never say such a thing! I'll slap him for ya. ;)

Seems that you don't even want to go out. Which, at your age, is lame.

Actually I would. But I've got to get up for work in the morning so I'm not all that crazy about going out now, when it is after 10pm here.

Maybe tomorrow. I've got work to do I'm just not doing it.

I stayed at home all day. My dad stayed home from work for some reason so he filed his taxes. He ended up using my laptop (as his is no longer operational), so that was fun.

I had to go into work twice today. Once in the morning to unload the transport and later on during the day I got called in to do a shift. But I didn't mind. It's a national holiday today so I got paid time and a half!

Good for you. One of the managers where I work asked me as we were leaving last night if I might be available today if they got busy. I said maybe. And then I committed to not answer my phone if they called. I know, I'm evil.

I don't sell. I'm what is known as a Customer Service Associate or CSA. I handle the register, tuxedo rental department and assisting the sales staff with their sales.

That's about it.

Lookin good ROuge.....and pay Algren no attention...he is just jealous ;)

About your upbringing....would you say you have been "sheltered," if so...do you think that will make it hard for you when you move to a new city and possibly transfer colleges?

Maybe. Right now I'm probably staying in Atlanta to transfer schools. I'll still be living at home for a while.

Yeah its good to get out once in a while ; although recently stupid homework and internet work has totally cut off my social life during the night; i usually have to sneak outta college early just to see my buds.

Going out is generally over-rated when your this age anyway; its fun to go out and party and get drunk but most people talk about it for weeks after as though its some legendary night- coming from someone who was never in the house for much of his time at school; trust me when i say people hype up nights out to seem like something they really werent. People like to put across as though they have popular and busy social lifes when 90% of them really dont ;)

You should go out with your work for party nights out; ive been invited by my college to spend nights out and whatnot and its a good way to meet new people i guess [even if the company your with are terrible drunks]
