Saint's Row should keep me busy until Splinter Cell comes out. Might get The Godfather if it's good. I also kinda want that John Woo game, looks pretty cool.

I just completed Dead Rising. The end does get hard, but it was an incredibly fun game (once you figure out the sometimes frustrating boss battles).
I'm playing it through the 2nd time, and it is even more fun now that I'm a lot more powerful and can do whatever I want without worrying about the main story.
It's a great, great game!

Did you ever get to beat Kent on the second photo challenge? I kept showing my best pictures that score 5000 points but he keeps laughing at them

No... I never met up with him the last time. I was pretty much concentrating on the main story mission the first time through.
The 2nd time through, I'm trying to save survivors and get a few more achievement points that I missed.
Oh... did you beat the clown psycho on the space ride on (day #1)? If you didn't, be sure to do that the next time through as it gives you a shortcut... you can teleport from the bathroom by the space ride to Paradise Plaza instantly. It is so much easier to get survivors back when you can teleport without having to confront the inmates in the park!

Yeah the clown was wicked and fun, pretty easy to beat and yes I did use the restroom to escort my survivors to the other plaza. I really like the pyschos in the games. The Clown, the vietcong guy, the 3 gunmen, the cult leader, butcher, the grocery store owner, and of course the gunshop owner

It takes a bit to get used to it. If you want a surefire way to kick ass... just kick back on your first 3 days and screw the main storyline (when you lose it, hit continue). Find the car in the parking lot (just east of the North plaza entrance), then take it down to the maintenance tunnel. Take a left and go until you find the truck. Jump in the truck and run over zombies like a madman. Go down to the turnaround (check your map for the donut area), then circle back to where you found the truck. Park it, enter the butcher shop (the double doors), then exit and the truck will respawn. Jump in the new truck and do that over and over and over again until you kill 53,500 zombies. It takes about 24-30 game hours (2 hours real time). It's a little tedious, but not only will you level up and get some achievement points (1,000 kills, 10,000 kills, 53,500 kills, 24 hours indoors), but you'll get a kick ass blaster, which pretty much 1-hit kills every boss.
Makes the game a piece of cake the 2nd time through.
Edit: Just a note... you don't get the blaster until you finish the 72 hours. So, if you do it... don't quit and start over before the 72 hours.

There is still a few psychos I haven't tried yet... I haven't done the three snipers yet, and I just got to the gun shop guy (Cletus), but got my ass kicked. I wasn't prepared for battle, but I'll get him next time I play.
I find most of the bosses/psychos take me 2-3 times to get a handle on before I can kick their ass. The 2nd time through, they are easy as hell, though. If you have trouble with the last guy, let me know... I know a surefire way to beat him.

Dead Rising is a lot of fun though.
Most interesting weapons was CDs and gems from the jewelry store.
I'm not sure about photographs though, I'm usually too busy kicking zombie ass.
Also the Carlos boss is stupid... the gun is hard to aim.

Im guessing it's not the next GTA. They actually gave True Crime: NY an 8 aswell and True Crime: LA an 8.2, so yeah no wonder THQ hasnt been hyping the shit out of the game. Apparently you were wrong, Kill... THQ is hyping the shit out of the game. Quote: THQ Inc. today announced its multi-million dollar, global marketing campaign for the highly anticipated Saints Row... Saints Row is generating record levels of consumer awareness, led by a highly successful pre-order DVD campaign and the release of a single player online demo that consumers are downloading from the Xbox Live Marketplace at a record rate, with 350,000 downloads in the first week. The worldwide advertising campaign, including TV, theater, print and online, begins today with an exclusive sneak peek at Saints Row during the season premiere of The Ultimate Fighter on Spike TV.
"We’ve put significant resources behind the Saints Row marketing campaign, generating tremendous buzz with creative grass roots efforts and the strategic timing of pre-release content," said Bob Aniello, senior vice president of worldwide marketing, THQ. "Our multi-million dollar advertising campaign will continue to fuel anticipation in the weeks leading up to launch and we believe extensive plans for post-launch downloadable content will further establish it as a must-have title this holiday season."

On another interesting note, Capcom said that Dead Rising shipments far exceeded their already high expectations and revised their forecast for the game. Apparently they have shipped 450,000 units as of yesterday, and raised forecasts to 800,000 (from 660,000).
Analysts say that Capcom USA is moving toward more multiplatform releases, and with the brisk sales on the 360, it would not be a surprise to see games that were previously exclusive to the PS3, move to the 360 as well (ie, Devil May Cry 4). If Lost Planet (an upcoming Capcom 360 game) does well, I'll put good money we'll see DMC4 go to both consoles. Not that I care a lot, as I was never a big fan of the series, but it would definitely be yet another major blow to Sony, who has already lost some exclusive games (like GTA IV) and also had some multiplatform releases cancelled for their machine (Splinter Cell).

Finally was able to finish Dead Rising twice again, overtime and infinity mode were awesome.Other than that the pros and cons havent changed much
My final Grade is an A
Saints Row is the next game Im looking forward to, I picked up the demo and see alot of resemblence to GTA although its not as great as GTA but certaintly much better than True Crimes and Driver. Its a good companion for GTA till GTA gets released

It's probably a good game for some people but It was just meh to me. I quit playing after the 3rd misson. The fourth mission in the Mental Ward just got too frustrating instead of fun. I don't mind a hard game but it has to be fun.
Dead Rising
Xbox 360
B-
I know everyone is gushing over this one right now. But I should have stuck with my gut when I played the demo. Instead I went with the hype and bought it. It's an alright game but I think I was expecting RE4 type combat and enemies. Yeah so you get to kill zombies 100 different ways but when you reallly want to cut loose with your favorite weapons they either break or run of juice. Save points are handled terribly. I get to the first boss/Psycopath, die and have to start from the begining. I am amazed by the sheer amount of enemies on screen and the ability to interact with just about everything.
Next up:
Saints Row
Just Cause

Call of Duty 2 (PC): A-
Fun game, lots of action, isn't too frustrating and pretty good graphics. Only problem is that I beat it in 2 days. I like WWII shooters, in moderation, this is the first I've played in a few years. I can't imagine trying to play this on a console. It's a fast paced game, constantly moving and aiming. Console controller would not be good for that. (No, I just couldn't resist)

To get the mega man blaster you have to do the 53,000 zombie kills. At the end of the 72 hour game, the next time you start a game, it will be in the maintanance room. It is an awesome weapon that kills every psycho with 1-2 hits. Well worth it, and it makes the 72 hour game a breeze.
There is a wicked lightsaber as well, but I haven't got that yet. I think you have to save 50 survivors for that.

I'm sorry you got stuck playing it on the PC. As most reviews stated, it plays and looks better on the 360. Some day, you'll see the light, Squee....
"Call of Duty 2 on the Xbox 360 runs buttery smooth--even smoother than the PC version did for us in a lot of cases. Areas and situations that would cause most PCs to hitch up run perfectly fine on the Xbox 360 version."

Oh... and here's a better quote from EGM...
"I'll go on record right here: It's better than playing with a mouse and keyboard. And for that matter, the game itself works better on 360 than on PC. It runs with film-like smoothness;"

The world is finally coming around to my way of thinking....

They have shitty computers, that's why they need an X-box 360.
I don't have a shitty computer, so all games run perfectly fine for me.
I could definitely beat the 360 version, it would just be a lot more frustrating.

Madden 07 on 360
Way different then 06 on XBOX, which is the last thing i played. But the graphics are amazing. I think with time this game will be amazing, but right now its just good cause I cant used to all the controls.

Not if you have a HD-tv. I noticed a huge difference when I bought the adapters for the hdtv to plug in with my 360. Quite a contrast. All that time I thought I was playing in HDtv quality . The huge difference is that it looked like I was playing a huge pc monitor

It isn't about how smooth it runs, really, for Shooters. (though it runs smooth as... something smooth, on my PC) The problem is the controls. No matter what Tony or anyone other idiots say, mouse/keyboard will always be the superior combo. If only there was a way for mouse/keyboard people to play console controller people and show them how superior the mouse really is. Even I'd kick Tony Montana's ass, and I suck at multiplayer first person shooters.

Yeah I do agree that the mouse and keyboard is far more superior to the joystick
