I am here because i got a PM at BOM (really dont know why I got one so if someone has an answer :wink: )
I found it strange so many people banned at BOM. Actually the forum died because a lot of interesting and cool people with huge Box Office and movie knowledge got a ban.(I read a long time in the forum before I registered)
One problem I have now is the following. When BOM will die (perhaps) we will lose THE Site with the best Box office statistics (its a fact. I dont know another site like BOM). :?

BOM (the site) will not die. It's doing quite well with ads and premier pass.
From their own saying, forums are just a small part of hits.

Mojo makes most of its money from its actual site, not the people who visit the forum or the forum itself. Thats one reason why i always thought Sean exercized so much authority on it .. he didn't care much for it .... so mojo itself wont die. : )
Plus, give it another 6 months, its gonna fill up again.

The site is great. It's the forums that sucked. I don't think the site will die if the forums were ever taken away, because it survived for a few years without them. Besides, like people said, the forums will fill right up with newbies soon. Just a transition period.
