 Can you swim?
I am asking you this completely unsophisticated and plain question. I am just wondering how many of you guys and girls here can swim and how many can't.
As for myself, yes, I can. But I didn't learn it as a little child, like most did, but around the time when I turned 13 or 14.

Yep, when I was 9-10 years old...
My father threw me into a pool and told to stay above water... I kept kicking my legs and somehow stayed afloat, from there I learned 'froggie' style (similar to breaststroke but less coordinated and graceful ), then breast stroke, free style and back stroke, and butterfly (which I can hardly swim at all, maybe like 25 meters...)

So when you were born you were dropped into a pool and you swam your way out of it?

Starting in again are we? Just leave it be man. Just answer the question and leave it at that! Also, Rusty also brought it to his attention, so don't pat yourself on the back whole-heartedly! Maturity please!!
As to the question at hand, yes I can swim and very well I might add! During winter (our summer) I oft go with mates to the lakes or to the ocean for swim fun and games! Pools are loads of fun too!

I have tried mussels a couple of times and they didn't impress me much. October is supposed to be the "mussels month" here in Germany. That mens that you can get mussels in almost all good restaurants here in Germany in October...
I LOVE travelling and I'd LOVE to visit NZ...next time I'll have a spare $5000, I will do that, hehe.

And I'd also need money for hotel and food and everything...unless I can live somewhere in the remains of the LOTR sets...

Well, I guess you can say I can but I doubt it, as I've never been swimming for more than 4 years. Terrified of going in the water for some reason.

Ahhhhh...we all love a bit of the Loki! He's frelling hilarious!
You are young, you can do the backpackers hotels and whatnot! Food is cheap and you can tramp in the woods and fish in the lakes, just like the Fellowship! The mere sight of seeing the Edoras location is worth the trip alone!

I will visit Australia and NZ one day, for sure. Seriously, LOTR has made the country so popular, it's amazing.

All hail PJ!
Just remember, spend more of your time in NZ than OZ! Most people do it the other way around and then they regret it!
