After a sketchy thread on atheism, I think I'll go with something that we can all relate to: things that just piss us off. Your objective? Tell us a few things that really piss you off! No matter how justified your reasoning is, just tell us what it is that makes you want to buy a gun and shoot something.

Here's something that REALLY pisses me off: I am sitting in class, minding my own business, and I have the urge to use the bathroom. I raise my hand innocently, and simply ask "Can I use the bathroom?" and this dumb bastard, who is obviously so superior to myself because they're teaching me shit, slaps on their best smug, arrogant face that they can muster up, and says in the most annoying voice ever "I don't know! Caaaaaan you?". It's mainly only teachers who pull off this rare feat of idiocy and arrogance, but sometimes a parent will attempt it, but they fail miserably and only sound dumber than they appear. The next person to even TRY and pull this off will be beaten with a large sack of hammers for trying to be so clever. Some are exempt, because I like them, even if they should know better.

Also, a co-worker of mine insists on saying "petrieve" as opposed to "retrieve" all the time.

I'm not a grammar nazi by any means, but some things just annoy the heck out of me.

Something else I hate is when people waste their time designing their webpages, so they have twinkling lights at the top, varying fonts, fading effects when going to different pages, basically all sorts of bells and whistles to make it look good, rather than focus more on the content than the quality.

People in elevators

Person A: Who only takes an elevator to go up a flight or 2
Person B: Who enters an elevator and unintentionally blocks the door from closing
Person C: One you keep door open for as a good gesture and they continue to only stroll down the corridor instead of picking up their pace
Person D: The worst one. Walks in, stares at the floor numbers, picks one, realizes it was wrong and presses the right one and smiles at you. I want to take whatever I have in my hand and smash their head with it.

We're not meant to be angry, but dammit, somethings just piss us off, and I think it's normal to feel like smacking someone for pissing you off. Mainly because they always seem like they're doing it purposely.

having grown up in an envronment where homosexuality is such a big taboo, ts something that bothers me not too much.

racism ... as much as i hate it, i hate it more when people take advantage of being a minority and then promoting racism even more by willfully trying to differentiate themselves.
