Rate the job that George W Bush did. What kind of job do you think he did. What was or wasn't his fault.

When he become President

- the stock market was at an all-time high, NOW ..... NOT.
- America wasn't at war, Now..... NOT
- The World Trade Center was still standing, NOW.....NOT.
- there wasn't a federal deficit, NOW.....NOT

I could continue (WMD, Osama) but you get the idea so how was Bush's first term and what did he do that was good and bad.

liberals are looking for any reason to bash bush. Can we leave it down to only, say 5000 threads at a time? youve ruined the fucking forum. Thanks.

Did you read the question, I asked whether he did a good or bad job. You can reply either way or defend him. (PS. I had to revert back to this specific question about Bush's first term because my general one about how do you feel about Bush winning was declared a dup)

I just left there a basic fair question, it is your job to prove and back up your point.

Question - Isn't this fair

Rate the job that George W Bush did. What kind of job do you think he did. What was or wasn't his fault.

Poll - Isn't this fair.

Rate the job that George W Bush did. What kind of job do you think he did.

Great Job. 0% [ 0 ]
Good Job. 10% [ 1 ]
Average Job. 20% [ 2 ]
Poor Job. 30% [ 3 ]
Horrible Job. 40% [ 4 ]
I don't follow politics so I can't answer the question. 0% [ 0 ]

Its a stupid poll. You already know the answer your going to get. Thats my point. And there is enough anti-Bush crap clogging the forum. Its the thought of making stupid threads where you know all you will get is hatred. Thats something we dont need more of. It was fine and interesting to a point. Now, its overkill.

When he BECAME president

-Taxes were high, NOW....NOT (so high  ) - BIG DEAL - A couple of good years of lower taxes but WE WILL BEING PAYING MORE FOR THE NEXT 50 YEARS WITH THIS PRESIDENCY and the troubles of SOCIAL SECURITY and other government programs.

-Saddam was in power, NOW....NOT - I will give you this
#NAME?
-Afghaniistan was a terroirst regime, NOW....NOT - I will give you this.
-Bush had a slim EC vote and low popular vote total, NOW...NOT - NOT, he sure didn't win in anything close to a landslide

If the above things are all you can give in a 4 year Bush Presidency, I don't think that is too good.

Maybe, now that he has won the election, he will go back to his ranch to rest up for a couple of months.

Any more pro points to consider with Bush.

Bush did a great job. He will be remembered as another top notch Republican president. I can't wait to see his plans for the next four years.

That's your opinion. And you are obviously in the minority. Bush won by record numbers.

Bush was reelected by the smallest percentage of any president in American history. Every time before when a president was re-elected it was a landslide. Like when Reagan stomped Mondale or Clinton crushed Dole. By comparison W. barely eked out a win.

Like him all you want, that's your choice, but don't pretend he won by any large amount.

It's funny that you were bitching about this thread but the best that you can say is he did a great job.

I know this thread and questions are worthless, as you said, it seems that your "say nothing " replies are the real stink-er-roo here.

Of course, there are times when a president was not re-elected.

My statement was perfectly true, he won a record amount of votes. No president has ever won as many. And he was STILL the popular choice. The Republicans were the popular choice. There is no way to overlook the simple fact that Bush won by a good amount.

Hmm... last I recall, Bush didn't topple the towers, terrorists did. Don't be an idiot Goldie.

Oh, and there's always a deficit... yeah

You can't blame the 9/11 attacks on Bush, but you can blame him for how he handled the situation.

Afghanistan was a failure, we went after Bin Laden and ended up as nation builders, we let him get away at Tora Bora due to inept planning and an obsession with switching to Iraq.

As one of the little Anti-Bush buttons goes...

"When Clinton lied, nobody died"

With that in mind, I give Bush an F-. Death that isn't excusable...isn't excusable.

Maybe cause millions of people more voted when compared to previous elections? Sheesh. lol

You can say the same thing about Kerry. How many candidates---who won or didn't--- can you think of that got 55 million votes??
