Goddamnit!!!

I FUCKIN HATE our apartmen complex. They jsut send us a eviction notice because we were in viloation of "plumbing" We recently had a problem with our garbage disposal, and they had to come fix it...well, apparantly they think it was our fault, and they told us we are in violation of codes...ect so they gave us 14 days notice. THis is bullshit. The garbage disposal has been broken 4 TIMES!!!! and they want to pin this on us? You got to be fuckin kidding me. Our upstairs bathroom and sink were fucked up THE FIRST DAY WE MOVED IN. plus twice more for each after that. Not to mention our downstairs toilet has been stopped up and overflowED 3 TIMES!, our downstairs sink has been fucked up twice, our floor has caved in in two different areas, our AC was out for 2 weeks, and the left the old unit in our yard for over a month, our heat was out for a week, our hot water was out for 2 weeks....I could go on and on....

I'm really sorry about this Bill. But I think you should move out, and live on your own. These roomates of yours are assholes, from what you tell me. And I think you would be much happier on your own, and you wouldn't have to worry about shit on the carpet or on the couch.

Well, I guess the logical Question of the day is this: Did you bother to go and check this place out FIRST before signing a lease on it and if you didn't, then why not??? From the look of your rant, your apartment sounded like a total dive to begin with, so maybe you should've shopped around better to avoid stuff like this??? Words of Wisdom from BKB, Today, Jan 5th, 2005: When you look for an apartment, never judge the apartment by the picture of it in one of those "Apartment Guides"... They'll always put up the best looking pic of it with all the bells and whistles to rent it out, but in the end, 90% of most apartments NEVER look like the advertising pic at all.. Huh. If you're evicted do you have to pay the most recent rent? If not I'd say pack up and get the hell out. Might just be me, but I love living alone. And Its not like your "cool" roomate and you couldn't meet as friends. Its usually better that way, because you have to make the effort to see eachother and not take eachother's presence for granted anyways. I've always found I remained good friends with people I didn't live with. It required more energy and creativity. Plus, you'll be done with that obnoxious guy. For all you know he's the reason the disposal keeps breaking because he puts not grindable stuff down it. You may not know that, but whoever keeps fixing your disposal may. Get out, get yourself a nice studio, then you can furnish and decorate it as you wish, keep it to your standards, and never feel awkward with the little lady the next morning (hint hint). :wink:

IM going over there shortly to discuss the matter with them. The apartment complex is actually nice LOOKING. Its jut the managment and the repairs never get done
