Fire in Buenos Aires Club Kills 175
Read about it here
The thing that caught my attention was a reference to another incident:
The blaze was the worst in the Americas since a supermarket fire in neighboring Paraguay last August killed nearly 400 people. The owners are accused of closing the doors after the fire broke out to stop looting
WTH? They closed the doors?

The total number is 175 dead, most of them preventable.
And surprise, surprise, the exits were sealed off.

This is eerily similar to what happened in Rhode Island last year, mostly because just like what happened in Rhode Island, there was only one exit that was open to the public. The rest were sealed off.

They close exit doors beacause in such big clubs people try to sneak in.
Of course so the exit doors lose all sense.
stupid world :x

I was actually supposed to be at the club that night. I didn;t actually like the band so I skipped going. My friends drove up late, and were outside when the saw the building go up.
