You were banned from a Starbucks? Who needs Starbucks??? Seriously, I support Tim Hortons. I only buy coffee and donuts from them, when I do buy them.

I asked him if he supported his business on love and he got mad. No more Pita Pit for rusty that's for sure.

Oh sure, we had our differences then. I remember the big blowout over which Don Knotts movie was the funniest - The Ghost and Mr. Chicken or The Incredible Mr. Limpet. Those Limpet fanboys were the worst! We used to call them the "Limpet Lunatics".

And, then there was the first mass banning back in the 30's. That was all over the "ankle appreciation thread". Some wise ass posted pictures of Margaret Dumont's naked ankles and all hell broke loose.

Oh, those were the days!

HIPPY! BURN IN HELL!

Speaking of hippies, have you seen this picture of your beloved Rush. Talk about hippies!! The fact that you worship hippies is kind of ironic, don't you think?

Back on topic, I don't really miss it much. When I first learned that many were going to stop posting at BOM I was dismayed. I had never left for too long dispite whatever had happened at the boards, and I couldn't imagine ever doing so. I hated the idea that the boards would be hurt by losing many good posters. But it was that one weekend when I quickly became convinced that I didn't want to post there anymore. Many of the things that the administration did were simply not right. The main thing that changed however, was becoming convinced that WoKJ would survive and prosper. I saw everything shift dramatically that weekend. With most of the good posters here at KJ, I can say that it's better then it was before. The environment is better, as I feel that whatever happens, it will be dealt with fairly, something I never felt at BOM. Also, I have confidence that the administration will be responsive to whatever might be happening.

The quality of a forum is, as many have said, based on the users. Most of the best posters from BOM are here, although some are still at BOM, or have stopped posting at either. Many of the posters with lower post counts are also missing, which is too bad. Those are the things I regret, however, overall I believe the good outweighs the bad.

I don't miss BOM in the slightest. The atmosphere here is much more layed back, all of the worthwhile posters are here, and nobody has to worry about a random banning spree.

And I can post under my real identity, which I haven't been able to at BOM since December.

A fine quote selection :)

NO not at all. I thought the transition from BOM to KJ would be hard, but we have all the best posters here so I love it.

Plus sean is a hitler wannabe so its nice to not get banned or warned for meanigless stuff
