Musical Biopics can be tricky.
Surely this should do well on Springsteen's music.
Blinded by the Light wasn't big though, but that's more the nature of the film I guess.
And Jeremy Allen White is well liked but he's no star like Chamalet.
But if Rocketman and One Love can do nearly 100, this should too.

Chalamet is such a star you'd think people would get his name right.

After watching the trailer I'm not crazy about the Jeremy Allen White pick.

M3GAN 2.0 is his fourth round pick! Gez is human after all!

And although the other unopened fourth round picks aren't exactly great, I think his may be the lowest grossing of the lot, which means it's an opportunity for all of us to gain some ground.

Yeah, I had that feeling picking it too. I was thinking of picking Sinners or Friday Night at Freddies 2 but like my selection of another June underperformer - I used feelings in my judgement and not cold hard strategic analysis and thinking.

Megan 2.0. - I felt an obligation to select it due to me selecting the first film in 2023 (when I was taking strategic gambles due to being the last player to make selections (I also picked Wonka). Stupid reason but I went with it.

Ballerina - simply put I picked it in 2024, it moved and I felt that I still owned it. Plus, John Wick 4 did well for me in 2023. Again, sill reasoning.

These two wont even combine to $100m when initially i was hoping for a $200m combo. Major bust.

Can't be mad at yourself for picking Megan over Sinners. Both performances are equally surprising. Sinners could have easily been another Mickey 17.
