I've actually seen it done before, and in the right way, it's really sultry. However, she seems to really dig it, and by that, I mean, return to it incessantly. I think part of it's attraction is that it's meant to be somewhat off-limits and on the edge, not at the centre.
Also, I was thinking of that horrible hairstyle and dress, where she has it in locks, blonde, and those huge earrings, do you remember? It was at some awards show. Oh man, that was awful. Cher-awful.
