This blogger is reporting, secondhand from the BBC World service, that reportedly 50% of German men now wear tights. Is this true?

Well normally I wouldn't care but Germany is our front line of defense against Putin. We need them to look as intimidating as possible.

I really have not had a good experience so far in my life with German people. I've had dealings/met around a dozen German people, and almost all of them turn out to be arrogant, rude, belittling control freaks that when something goes wrong they blame it on someone else. They truly believe they are better than anyone else on the planet. Their word is gospel, and they know everything about everything (which couldn't be further from the truth). I think they are just brainwashed into believing they are the elite (especially in business) because many very successful businesses have originated from Germany. It's inherent for them to think of themselves as equally successful or knowledgeable, even when they're actually total failures in life. Most of the Germans I know are not the efficient professionals they would have us believe, too! They are incompetent, racist, and lazy, and that think everyone else is beneath them, especially Indians and Orientals. It's funny because when they meet other Western people they are pretty much pussies and don't exert the same dominance as when talking to (or shouting at) the aforementioned races.

Austrians, though, very nice people. It's a funny world.

They are pretty insecure people, and can never be the butt of a joke or accept blame for something. They always have to shield themselves from showing any form of insecurity. Agreed. They are damn good at football. But as if that really matters. It's just another one of those superficialities they live behind, just like they think they are all super efficient and/or great business people just because VW, BMW, and Porsche exist and they also happen to be German-owned. Germans genuinely take pride in what other German's have accomplished, and they exert that in arrogance. It's ridiculous.
