That was so 1995.
My brother would be envious, though.

Re: I'm at fucking Wrestlemania right now
I did a news story on it, tickets sold out like crazy being back in NJ. The CM Punk thing is kind of funny as they're playing it like He stole the ashes of Undertaker's manager who just died.

I haven't watched since 8th grade and I'd probably still go to Wrestlemania, lol. Especially with The Rock back in it.

People that are avid fans of it when they are adults are odd. When you're young, it's ok, but to be an adult and know that it's shit but still go and watch it is completely mental.

Same could be said for Superheroes, Medieval Times, and Sylvester Stallone. It's clear you don't do anything for fun. Like a real boxing match, it's a very cool experience and fun to do once in a while. You drink with your friends and just enjoy the show like a play.

Re: I'm at fucking Wrestlemania right now
I agree, I mean I hate NASCAR, and not a fan of wrestling, any kind of local food festivals, air shows, even circuses and going to sporting events on a regular basis. But to go once in a while, they always seem to have a great atmosphere.

Always wanted to go ever since watching Wrestlemania III about 100 times as a kid. That was sooo huge. I'm wondering if that was the most popular that wrestling ever was, or if that's just from vague memory of it being rather central to my chldhood at the time.

Re: I'm at fucking Wrestlemania right now
I haven't watched wrestling for quite a while. Probably 10 years or so. I pretty much stopped watching after The Rock originally left to make movies. But for years, I'd just record it and fast forward to anything with The Rock.
Was wrestling at it's most popular during Wrestlemania III? I think the Wrestlemania with Hulk Hogan vs. The Ultimate Warrior was a huge one too. Was that VI? Also, the era that included both The Rock and Steve Austin was a huge time for wrestling.
I enjoyed it because, while I know it's scripted, I can still appreciate the athleticism of those involved. And The Rock was hilarious.
