no A team in this one at all.
I would say that without the presence of Spock or Kirk, the away team is dead. we've seen the orcs take on the men of gondor and stuff. what have we ever seen from a bunch of ensigns ..... NOTHING! hell, their job on the show WAS to die.
The orcs will slaughter them, even without long range phasers.

But Godzilla has crushed many japanese in his life so 1 more deer would be pretty easy.
