Sorry to make a whole thread about this, but my free trial of paintshop pro has just run out and I'm missing it a lot more than I thought I would.

Does anyone know of any good (free) paint programs available on the net? I'll be eternally grateful if you do! I won't give you money or service you sexually or anything, but I'll certainly consider it!

it's photoshop, but free. and easier. and if you just want to paint with it, you can do that too. l assume.

note: l suck at photoshop, and/or anything pertaining to computer art, so l'm not exactly sure how good this program is...but it has an awefully lot of cool things to mess around with (a paintbrush that paints marbles?!)...

2. Please stay away from "Gimp" its the worst photo software ever plainly because its unstable and has terrible memory management. google it up and if not then buy Adobe Photoshop Elements which is super cheap for what you get.

As for it being "the worst photo software ever", Michael, l dunno bout that. There is a newly released version that apparently fixes alot of bugs..for example it's instability...yes, l do remember on my old computer it tened to shut down a lot...although, really all you had to do was not touch the dos prompt that came up....but since l've redownloaded it recently, and messed a round a bit, it hasn't done that once.
