any of you not including Aerosmith are just lying to yourself. Like them or not I cant think of a single american band thats better.

Smashing Pumpkins is one American band I liked a lot, probably the most under-rated band of the 90s. They just didn't look as good on a Rolling Stone cover as Nirvana unfortunately.

Smashing Pumpkins is a good band, absolutely.
Aerosmith is just another rock and roll band. They're good at it, but there's nothing really original about them. they've sold more records than many others here, but so what? So did Madonna nd Britney Spears. The question was about which bands were the best.
